AUSTIN'S POV
It's Monday and all I want to do is get into my car and go back to bed. This morning my dad and I got into an argument. I mean we have been fighting about this topic my entire life and somehow it wasn't getting better.
***FLASHBACK***
"Dad I don't want to work in your company."
"And why's that Austin."
"Cause is boring and I just don't want to do it."
"Do you even what I do for a living."
"Who doesn't, everyone knows that you sell phones."
"I don't only sell phones Austin I design them and soon you will to."
"I'm not taking over the company!"
"Then who will. I'm getting old Austin you have to take over the family business because you are the heir as I was."
"Well it can skip a generation."
"Austin you will be the next CEO of Rush Corporations whether you like it or not now go to school before you are late."
***END OF FLASHBACK***
After the fight my dad and I had it had me mad for the entire morning. As I was walking down the hallway to get to my class on time someone crashed right into me.
"Watch where you are going!"
"I—I'm sorry I didn't see you there."
"Well maybe when you are walking you might want to look up and not down!" I said pushing past her making her fall with aloud thud but I did not look back and walked right out the hallway and outside the school.
"Rough morning?" says a brown curly headed boy.
"You have no idea."
"I know what you mean we've all been there before. It gets better."
"You haven't met my dad."
"My name is Andrew."
"My name's Austin."
"Yeah I know I think we're going to be good friends." He says putting his arms around my shoulder.
After walking and talking we realized we were going to the same class and we have three more classes together. We reached with three minutes till the class started. I found a seat in the back of the class and Andrew sat in front of me. While the rest of the class was entering the classroom all I could think of was that girl in the hallway. I know that I was in a bad mood but I shouldn't have taken my anger out on her she didn't deserve that. Oh well I won't be seeing her again anyway. Oh so I thought, before I knew it the same girl and her friend that was in the hall entered the classroom. Mrs. Hudson allows them to introduce their selves to the class. The girl that I pushed in the hallway went first.
"My name is Elle Prince, I'm seventeen years old and I like art." I didn't realize before but she had long, brown curly hair that matched her skin tone perfectly. She was very beautiful and I was sorry that I didn't see it earlier in the hallway.
"Maybe if you were not mad at your dad so much you would of notice." I say in my mind.
Elle's friend, I think it was Sarah said a few words that didn't hear cause all I saw was Elle. The teacher then told them to take a free seat Sarah took the seat in front leaving the one next to me Elle's seat. As she made her way closer to my seat and she realized it was me and was very shocked but sat down anyway.
Ever since I passed Elle in the hallway after she crashed into me I felt like I was drawn to her like both of us were brought together now I'm not one to believe in faith and all but somehow this was and faith was deciding that she has to be with me during class because when she walked in the class I felt like my heart stopped and it got worse when she sat next to me not that she had a choice. It had been three minutes since she arrived and haven't said anything to me maybe she was still mad at what happened in the hallway maybe I went hard on her. So I decided to break the silence first.
"Hey you're the girl that walked into me what are you doing stalking me " I said playfully.
"I want to be here but not by you, my marks were high enough to be in the senior's class. I was forced to seat here if my friend didn't take that seat and we weren't already partners I would ask her to switch." "I'm not stalking you okay." she said rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"Look I know you don't like me or you're just mad at what happened in the hallway but were in the same class and were Chemistry partners for a term so can we at least get through today without ripping off each other's head."
"Fine I will give you another chance to make it up to me but it's not going to be easy I'm not going to forgive you right away."
"And I respect that, so partners." I say extending my hand for her to shake.
"Partners." She says as she takes my hand.
As she takes my hand I felt an electrical connection and by the way she gasped I think she felt it to. Quickly as possible she let's go my hand and turns to face the board where Mrs. Hudson wrote the periodic table.
After a few seconds a smirk came across my face then I said "Nerd" and she called back "dumb idiot" after our sort of made up I looked up to see Andrew staring at me with a glare. I brushed it off and listened to Mrs. Hudson ramble on and on about the periodic table which I still don't understand by the way. And I can't help but think how different my life is going to be with these two new people in my life. I know that this is only the beginning.
