CHAPTER 9

ELLE'S POV

The party is now in full swing. Everyone was having a good time. Me, on the other hand could do without this party after that argument that I had with Austin and I would like nothing more than to go upstairs in my room and spend the rest of the night there. As I was walking around the house to my living room I saw Austin and a girl I think her name is Raine I've seen her around the school she is very pretty with her long jet black hair and hazel eyes. She can make anyone fall for those eyes and tonight seemed that Austin was going to be the one to fall for it. Austin and Raine were on my couch talking and laughing the next thing I know they were making out and I was walking away from them and headed to the kitchen. How dare he? How could he do this? Didn't he say he liked me? Wait why I'm I mad at him for kissing another person we're not even dating or anything. But why do I feel like my heart is going to break any second now. It can't be do I really have feelings for Austin Rush.

Yes you idiot you have feelings for him. Says myself conscious. I hate her sometimes.

"Ughhhh!"

"Woah what's up with you not having a good time?"

"No it's not that just have a lot on my mind at the moment."

"Well I have two things that I can tell you."

"What is it?"

"One do what you think feels right don't let anyone tell you what you can do and if it doesn't go well at least it was all up to you."

"Okay thanks for the advice. What's the other thing?" I asks as he looks down at his watch for what felt like the seventh time.

"Oh you guys are out of snacks I think you should get some more." He says making me laugh at his response.

"See now stop being uptight and enjoy the party. Right after you buy more snacks."

"Right I'll get those now." I say.

Before I could even tell the guy anything else he was no longer in sight.

I didn't bother to tell anyone that I was leaving the house to get snacks because I couldn't find them and the one that I could find, well he was down someone's throat and I am still mad at that so I rather go alone. I took Andrew's car to the supermarket and bought some more snacks. On my way out I got a phone call from Andrew.

"Hello."

"Elle where are you right now!"

"I'm at the supermarket and I'm coming home right now. Why?"

"Get home right now and be safe make sure no one is following you okay."

"Okay."

I got into the car watched my surroundings and when I was in the clear that no one was following me I drove home safely. I got out of the car and entered the house and everyone was waiting for me.

"Woah what did you guys do to the house when I left." I say shockingly.

"Where the hell have you been Elle we were all looking for you we thought they took you." Says Andrew angrily.

"They? Whose they?"

"The men that attacked us at the movies." Replies Will.

"Wait they came here tonight."

"Yeah the lights went out and then next thing we know we hear gunshots being fired towards the house, thank god no one got hurt. Everyone was running around looking for a place to hide till it stopped, but after it did they came into the house Elle. Every person that they found they asked them where you were all of them said no. Then they started looking in the rooms looking for you. Then when they didn't find you they left." Says Sarah.
