The Bad Boy's Weakness

CHAPTER 4

ELLE'S POV

***FLASHBACK***

Tyler and I dated when I was in form 1 and he was in form 3. We were always together from the morning to evening. Everyone said that we were not going to last and I would always deny and ignore them, boy were they right. One morning I got a text from him saying that he wanted to talk to me after school. The day finally came to an end, school was over, I met Tyler by our spot where he broke up with me.

"I don't have or need a reason to break up with you."

"Of course you do, you don't just break up for no reason Tyler."

"Okay you want to know the reason."

"That's what I'm waiting here for Tyler." I say irritated.

"I'm tired of you Elle. You're too boring for me, I need a change."

"I can change." I say.

"I don't want you to change for me. I don't want you anymore Elle." And with that he left.

After that I have been calling him for the entire weekend no answer. So I texted him to meet me at our spot after school on Monday, to which I got no reply. Monday comes around and it's the end of school and I was waiting for him at our spot. I waited there and no one came, so I decided to go to the one place he may be, his best friend's house. I arrived at John's house and knocked on the door.

"Hey."

"Hi."

"Is Tyler here I asked to meet with him but he didn't show up."

"Didn't he tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"His dad decided to move to Chicago to expand his business, he left during the weekend."

"He didn't tell me he just broke up with me on Friday and I wanted to talk it out but he isn't answering my calls or messages."

"Sorry I can't help you all I know is that he moved to Chicago."

"Thanks John."

After leaving John's house I went home and called Sarah. In ten minutes Sarah was at my house.

"Hey what's up? Are you okay?"

After that one line all of my emotions came crying out all together. Sadness, Anger and Betrayal all came rushing to me all at once. After composing myself for what felt like forever I told Sarah everything who then called Jake. Jake came over after some time and we had a sleepover. I felt so much better as the week went by and I didn't even care anymore. I was finally living my life with no drama and I was happy.

***END OF FLASHBACK***

"Hey Tyler."

"Hey it's been a while how are you?" he says with a smile.

"She was going fine before you came." Sarah mutters under her breath.

"I'm fine just trying to finish school." I say being polite.

"Oh that's right you're in senior year right?" he asked.

"Yeah I'm a senior." I say.

"Oh that's great!"

"How does that concern you?" Sarah asked.

"It isn't, just trying to catch up."

After seeing the look that Sarah was giving Tyler and the way Tyler was looking back at Sarah I knew something bad was about to happen so to avoid that I did the one thing that I can think of at the moment.

"Well Tyler it was nice meeting you again." I say.

"Me too it was nice meeting you again and you too Sarah." Tyler replies.

"I could of think of nicer ways." Sarah mutters under her breath.

"Bye Tyler."

"See you around Elle."

And with that Tyler left Sarah and I standing in the food court and walked away.

"See you around? Does he think that he is going to see you another time after this?" replies Sarah.

"I hope not I wasn't even ready for this encounter and I don't think I'll ever be ready for another one." I say honestly.

"Come on let's go before he decides to come back."

We reached back to the car and drove back to my house talking about how strange it was to see Tyler at the mall. I thought nothing about our encounter and that it was a coincidence but let's just say Sarah had a lot of different things in mind some that couldn't even be true.

"I'm telling you Elle he probably was spying on you your entire life and came back when you are a beautiful swan." Sarah says for the millionth time.

"A beautiful swan?"

"I couldn't think of any other way word to describe your beauty."

"Sarah don't you think he came back for something else."

"Like what?"

"I don't know anything but me."

"Please the only people he knows that is still lives here is us."

"Maybe he came back here for business, maybe it's a business trip?"

"Maybe."

After Sarah's five minute assumptions of why Tyler could be in California I finally reached home. Andrew car was in the garage so I knew he was home. After saying goodbye to Sarah and seeing her drive away I walked into the house to see Andrew on the couch on his phone smiling at something.

"Hey."

"Oh hey didn't see you there." He replies

"I could tell, you were too busy smiling at your phone."

"Anyway what are we eating for dinner."

"I don't know. What do you want?" I asked.

"Burger King."

"We ate that yesterday Andrew."

"It's a new day Elle."

"I'm not eating Burger King two days in a row."

"Well what are we eating then?"

"Let's eat pizza today."

"Okay I can work with that." He says.

Our parents are not home every day. They leave early and come home late or don't come home at all. Andrew and I are normally home by ourselves we take care of each other when are parents are not home witch has become a routine for us since Andrew was 13. Our mom is a doctor at West East Hospital and our dad travels a lot for work. So it's usually just Andrew and I.

Our pizza arrived fifteen minutes after I placed the order we ate the pizza while we watched Black Lightning then I went upstairs to get ready to go to bed. But not before I got I got a text from an unknown number.

"It was nice seeing you today. Hope we can meet sometime again."

At that moment I knew that what was to come was not going to be ending well.
