ELLE'S POV
It has been a week since the party. Everyone at the party totally forgot about what happened they spread news through the school about how awesome the party was leaving out the details of the house being shot at of course after the boys threatened almost everyone at the party about what they saw they were on board. The boys have been watching over me more than I like them to be but even if I said something they would reply and I quote "Do you rather have us breathing down your back or have the entire football team down your back." Well at least that was what Scott says every time I complain, and honestly I'm starting to believe it. We haven't heard from Blazer since the party and we haven't seen anyone suspicious or anyone following us, so this week has been going relatively great so far. Besides me not talking to Austin since the party, thankfully he got the message, and the rumors of Austin and Raine being the next talk of the school along with Maddie losing her marbles about that new found news, school's been what I would call 'normal'. It's Friday and we were all at our table having lunch while Sarah was talking about us having a sleepover tonight as celebration of getting through the week with no worries of the men in black. She thought about having a party with just us but we decided against it because of what happened the last time we had a party. While they were talking about the information all I could feel was eyes intensely looking right at me and I could tell who it was and it was killing me not to look at him and then I was saved by the bell I got up telling the others I was going to the restroom to which Sarah said goodbye and followed me down the hallway.
"Hey are you okay you were quiet at lunch."
"Yeah I'm fine just got a lot on my mind that's all.'
"When do ever not have something on your mind. Is it about Austin again?"
"How did you know?"
"There is only one person that makes you think this much about them."
"He kissed that girl Raine at the party I saw them and I was trying to get over it but now the entire school's talking about it and I don't know what to believe anymore especially after he told me likes me."
"HE DID WHAT!?"
"He told me when we went for snacks for the party we got into an argument about the way he teats me and he told me that he doesn't hate me he likes me and I didn't say anything he got mad and left me in the car then while I was looking for you guys at the party I saw him on the couch with Raine eating each other faces off."
"I'm sorry you had to see that Elle."
"It's not your fault, it's not anyone's fault we are not even dating so I shouldn't be mad about it."
"Just because you are not dating doesn't mean you can't feel upset about what is going on and he is in the wrong he told you he liked you and kissed someone else he should feel bad for what he did."
"You know you are the best best friend I could ask for."
"Oh I know that already."
"Don't tell Jake I said that."
"My lips are sealed."
After lunch the day went by quickly and Andrew and I were now going to the grocery before going home, Andrew and I went to the grocery store to buy some things for the sleepover. And we were finally home, I made my way upstairs to get all my homework done before they came and Andrew was downstairs making sure everything was ready for when they got here. I was in the middle of doing my chemistry homework when Sarah walked in to my room making sure her presence was very much noticed by jumping on me.
