It only took him thirteen years to give up the one thing he hoped for.
A brand new day, another day of school, feeling refreshed. Changkyun forgot all about the topic of angels and demons, ten years ago when he heard the sad news that he wasn't getting his angel, practically destroying his innocence. His heart was broken for weeks on end. Yet it didn't stop him. Now he is fifteen and is doing the things he wouldn't have done if he was still caught up about the situation.
He started to go on dates with Sarah Valentine, went to the movies with his friends. Became popular for a while and boy did it feel good to get out instead of staying in his room all night. After ten years of wanting an angel, he learned to let go by the time he was thirteen, even if all his friends got one.
Eighth grade was the best time of his life. It was the first year in seven years he stopped thinking about angels for once. His life was great and exciting.
Then High School came around. And chaos happened.
That is, because he wouldn't listen and pay attention at all. though, he did get amazing grades surprisingly.
