running.

Everyone runs from something, either to or from. everyone runs away from something they're afraid of, everyone runs. everyone had ran away from something in their life time. everyone does it. its just how they are.

Changkyun was warm in his arms. he felt safe again, the warmth against his body was a perfect temperature for him. he was being held and he felt perfect, even though life wasn't okay for him yet, he knew it was going to if Jooheon stayed by his side for a while.

If only he stuck around for a bit longer every thing would be okay, his life would somewhat go back to normal. he didn't have to run or keep running from something he can't control. he wanted to stop and take a breath, take a break from running around in his head.

he just wanted to take a break. he honestly thought that all he needed was Jooheon, Kihyun, Aster and Elliot and his life would be perfect. he didn't need anyone else, they were family and he felt like a family with them.

Even though he was still upset about the news, he knew he needed to be strong for everyone around him, he was sick of crying, he was sick of running away. he wanted to put his heel down into the ground and stop it. he wanted to be the strong person he always wanted to be.

He needed to start his life like Jooheon said a month ago. he needed to move on from the small things and move forward, like firstly, getting a job. he needed to get a job, something he liked and something he was good at. he didn't want people holding him back anymore.

The thought of running away from anything, made him sick, he remembered how far he had came just from running away and it got him no where. from the small banks in his closet, they didn't do anything.

They just sat there for months while he filled them with money that wouldn't be touched for weeks. he could've used the money for something useful in his life, but he wanted to feel like he was doing something when he wasn't.

As Changkyun laid in Jooheons arms, he felt comfortable in the position they were in, he had his head pressed against his chest, and his Jooheon had his arms around his waist. he never wanted this moment to end, from the endless kisses on top of his head from Jooheon, to the seven layers of blankets on them.

Though, when he got home last night, the apartment was trashed from wrapping paper and tinsel and food scrapes, which was no use to be taken into leftovers. which meant he had to go shopping. his least favorite thing to do.

Jooheon played with his hair, looking down at him, "What are you thinking about?" he asked, humming quietly while he tried to figure him out. he made eye contact with the boy who looked up at him.

"Can't you read my mind?" he smiled, teasing him while he picked at the material that laid on Jooheons body, he slid his hands up his waist and back down, more soothing to Changkyun than Jooheon.

Jooheon's face went blank, "I can't, you put your mind on lock," he spoke, intertwining their fingers together. which, humans actually have more power over their pair than their pair does.

Which, speaking of lock, Changkyun only locked his thoughts away because of the things he was thinking-which, the innocent Changkyun was not so innocent after all. the things he would dream about and day dream about-too embarrassing for Jooheon to hear, especially since it was about him.

"Right," he whispered, resting his head against his chest and sliding his hands up his shirt. "You never get to read them again," he smiled to himself, trying his best to keep himself warm as he inhaled his sweet scent.

Jooheon frowned. "why not? I like reading what you think about me," he twirled a finger around a strand of hair, "unless you're hiding something from me?" his eyes widened, "are you planning to send me back to the underworld?" he gasped, holding his hands over his mouth as a joke. "because honestly, when I came back, you were on your knees for me." he winked, his back hitting the floor in less than two seconds after speaking.
