"What can I get for you today?" The waiter had asked when he stood in front of their table next to the big glass window that displayed the city outside.
Changkyun had flinched when the waiter spoke up. "Oh right uh, can I have black coffee and a muffin? your choice." he spoke, playing with the sleeves of his warm sweatshirt.
The waiter nodded and turned to Kihyun, taking his order which Changkyun simply ignored. he was too busy looking out the window to the two completely different people with completely different personalites. Well, Aster was serious and Jooheon had that stupid smile on his face that he always had kind of personality.
As Kihyun tried to grab his attention away from the window, Jooheon caught his attention and gave him a side gaze, involving a wink and a smug grin.
"Changkyun!" he finally spoke loud enough to pull him out of his thoughts. he turned his head to look at Kihyun, nodding quickly.
"Yes I'm sorry, what now?" he asked, snapping his fingers. "You said you had important news right?" he added on, sitting straight in his seat, he was eager to hear the news from him.
Kihyun nodded, a soft smile appearing on his face while he looked down and played with his fork that was given when they sat down. "uhm, I might have gotten asked out?" he felt his cheeks heat up from embarrassment.
Changkyun's face lit up, finally he got his mind off of Jooheon for once. "you lucky fucker," he playfully kicked his leg and grabbed his hand as if he had just gotten engaged, which he hasn't. "so who's the lucky guy?"
When Kihyun heard the phrase 'guy' his cheeks flushed even more, "how did you know it was a guy?!" he spoke a bit louder than he should've, he got stares from the tables around him. he put his hood up and pulled the drawstring down.
"Are you that dumb?" he stared at him in disbelief, his mouth could've been wide open if he tried hard enough. "you're literally the gayest man I've ever met." he put a hand out in front of him, "no I take that back, you ARE the gayest man I ever met." he rolled his eyes, probably so far it would've went in the back of his head.
He didn't notice Jooheon sit down next to him, as he was too busy taking care of the situation with Kihyun, who whined like a baby about how he wasn't the gayest man ever.
"Well I don't show it! you just have horrible sight," he crossed his arms over his chest while his cheeks blushed a dark red, it was like he had just ran twenty miles in four minutes.
Changkyun stopped talking when the waiter came, watching Kihyun practically rip his hood off his head and sit with perfect posture with his hands in his lap like he was going to win the pageant.
When the waiter sat the coffee and muffin down for Changkyun, he turned to Kihyun and gave him his latte he asked for, but he stood closer to Kihyun than he did to Changkyun, who cracked the code.
He snapped his fingers and clapped, "Him! its him its him its him," he repeated, holding his hand out to the waiter for a handshake, "Hi! I'm Changkyun, Kihyuns best friend," he shook his hand as a greeting.
Kihyuns pale face flushed again, he swatted Changkyun's hand from the waiter, his gaze was like shooting daggers at him.
"I'm Hyunwoo," he smiled, bowing just a bit to show him a greeting as well. he shifted his weight from one side to another, "I would like to sit and talk but work-" he spoke, being cut off by Changkyun.
"Go go! of course, sorry to keep you waiting, ill talk to Kihyun for you," he playfully winked while Hyunwoo bowed again and waved to both of them before he left.
"What the fuck was that?" Kihyun said after he left, "You are so embarrassing." he whined, putting his hands over his face to add a dramatic effect.
