Christmas day.

the cool air in his room woke him up, it felt nice to be in a cool room, huddled under blankets while the smell of-food?

Changkyun opened his eyes while snow fell the to ground, he looked around his boring room, which had been updated since the last time. he got off the bed and slipped his slippers on. he shuffled out of the room and saw his whole apartment had been decorated from tinsel to food, he saw the crowd of people running around the apartment he had lived in.

every one looked happy from the looks of it. they were helping each other and holding each other while Christmas music played on the background.

he was surprised on how he didn't wake up from this happening. and he felt a little ashamed of being late to a party that was held at his own place.

though, the party wasn't exactly planned with Changkyun. it probably was Jooheons idea if he was being honest.

It was Changkyun, his brother, Kihyun, Aster, Hyunwoo, Kei, Minhyuk, Yutia, Wonho, Golden in the room. his eyes scanned the room, looking at Jooheon who was by the tree, organizing the presents. as always, he was under dressed.

Before anyone could see him, he put on a sweatshirt and some jeans, then he kicked his bunny slippers off and walked out of the room while his bedhead was still visible. he could see Jooheon smiling at something random but before he could try to figure out what it was, he blinked and he was gone.

He looked around the room before he heard someone stepping behind him. "You went back in the room to impress everyone, hm?" he asked, leaning back into his normal stance before he looked at Changkyun's face, a smirk appearing on his lips while a rose laid between them. a white rose to be exact.

A light blush set across Changkyun's cheeks while he took the rose gingerly from him. "You're so cheesy." he whispered, holding the rose in his hand carefully before he pulled him down into a kiss, obvious that he wanted one.

He didn't care if he felt the stares burning into his back, he gripped the back of his hair and deepened the kiss, the feeling of being loved was running through his veins while he pulled away. "I know," Jooheon whispered back, pressing his forehead against Changkyun's.

All of a sudden, Changkyun heard sniffling from behind him. he turned around to see Kihyun crying in the middle of the kitchen. he wiped his tears away and waved them off, "Don't worry about me," he grabbed a tissue and blew his nose, obviously having a soft spot for them two.

Changkyun ended up laughing, he pulled away from his grasp and walked over to his best friend, wrapping his arms around him, "Merry Christmas, Kihyun." he whispered into his ear.

Kihyun wrapped his arms around him as well, "you too, dork." he gripped onto him like hes never hugged him before and pulled away. "Okay! time to eat breakfast." he turned around and pulled out all kinds of things that were in the oven.

Kei and Golden set the table, which they put the leaf in to make the table bigger because there was obviously more people there. then they sat down while food was laid out.

Everyone sat next to their partner, but his mom and Elliot sat with each other. they laughed while they ate and told jokes, passed around bowls.

It was different for Changkyun. it was usually just him and Elliot, but it was a whole family that came together. but his mother wasn't there.

Which was weird. but he shrugged it off, thinking it was something minor. he wanted to enjoy himself for once instead of worrying all the time.

Jooheon grabbed Changkyun's and and gave it a little squeeze, telling him that he was as happy as he was. he then scooted closer so that their knees touched under the table.
