Chapter 10

"Oh my god. Oh my god"

"Aria calm down."

"I can't believe i just did that. I mean I just kissed my sisters boyfriend. I'm an awful person. Oh god."

Draco looks down. "Is that all i am to you? your sisters boyfriend?"

"What? no. of course not!" I say walking over to him.

We sat in silence for a second before he nodded and we went back to school.

As i walked into the Gryffindor common room i saw hermione sitting on the couch. She said, "-and I was thinking about going today. Oh hello Aria!"

"hey hermione"

Her brows furrowed and she walked over to me. "What's wrong?"

"I-I did something I shouldn't have."

"I doubt it's anything major."

I whispered, "I kissed Draco Malfoy."

"You WHAT?!"

"It all happened so fast i didn't even mean for it to happen-"

"Arabella Lynn you did not kiss your sisters boyfriend! He's a jerk! You know what he calls me? He calls me a m-mudblood," Hermione whisper yelled.

"I-I know but he's different around me."

"You just wait. He'll turn right back into a jerk."

"Do you hate me now?"

Hermione sighed and pulled me into a hug, "Of course not....but what about Mak?"

"He said he's going to break up with her."

I felt hermione nod.

(Mak POV)

I leaned my head against Dracos dorms door waiting for him to come. This is the only way i can catch him these days. He seems to always be busy.

I heard footsteps coming down the hall. Draco walked over to me and asked, "Mak? What are you doing here?"

"Waiting for you."

He opened the door and motioned for me to sit on his bed. "What is it you needed?"

"Maybe an explanation for why you've been so distant?"

I watched his face darken. He's never looked at me like this before. I felt like I was no longer welcome in his room even though i've been here thousands of times. I watched his fist clench before he walked over and sat next to me. He sat far enough away so he wasn't touching me.

He looked into my eyes. I could see guilt and regret swirling in them. "You know i've never been good at hiding things from you Kenz. So i'm going to tell you the truth."

My heart beat begins to pick up.

"Before i say what i need to tell you i want you to know this you have always been there for me and i will always, always love you for that. you've seen me at my worst and still stuck around. but. i don't want to string you along when you're not the only girl i love."

My heart seemed to stop beating. Tears welled up in my eyes. I felt like my heart was breaking in my chest. "How long? How long have you known you love her?"

"I....I think i've always known but i just never wanted to accept it."

"Who is the girl?"

The silence seemed to swap into my veins while i waited for him to utter the words that would tell me who is the cause of my heart being taken away.

"Arabella"
