Chapter 20

As Draco pulled me away from Cedric I wondered if he had noticed that Cedric smells like my amortentia.

We sat down in our chairs and stayed silent for most of class. I noticed Dracos eyes began to wander over to Mac. They met eyes for a moment.

I turned away not wanting to watch the scene in front of me. As we walked out of the classroom Draco asked, "Hey, why don't you hangout with your friends tonight?"

"Umm sure, but why?"

"I-uhm just have a bunch of stuff to do."

I have him a confused look before nodding.

"You go on. I'll catch up with you"

(Dracos POV)

Once Aria rounded the corner I quickly walked back into the classroom and shut the door. "Hey Draco"

"Hey Mac"

"You wanted to see me?"

"Yes. We need to talk."

"About?"

"You know what."

Macs eyes met mine before turning away. She paced to the front of the classroom before turning to me. "Start."

"Well, I wanted to apologize. I never meant to cheat on you and I definitely never meant for that person to be your sister....but it was"

She smirked slightly before walking over to me. She pressed me against the wall and whispered in my ear, "Was or is?"

I stammered, "Is! Was... I don't know."

Mac clicked her tongue before saying, "You miss me...don't you?"

"No.... fuck yes i do....but i can't do that to Aria.... I- love her."

Mac took in a sharp breath before asking, "Did you love me?"

I hesitated because I knew I loved her more than anything for a time. I know a part of me still loves her and hates myself for leaving her for Aria. I knew if Aria knew I was here, this close to my ex girlfriend, she'd be so hurt, but it seems like I can't stay away from Mac. Maybe it's because I feel guilty. "Yes."

Mac nodded, "But you love...Aria now?"

"Yes."

She shook her head in disbelief.

"I'm sorry."

"You know what?"

She turned away before spinning around and snarling, "You left me when I needed you most. You left me for my bloody sister. All I ever did was be there for you but you still left."

"Mac I-"

"Fuck you. You made me feel like I wasn't good enough when we both know that I was fucking good enough."

I stared at her. This was the first time she ever really yelled at me.

"You suck. You really suck Malfoy."

She turned to leave but paused at the door, "You're going to ruin her Malfoy. Just like you ruin everything else you've ever touched.....You're just like your father."
