Friends with Max and Harvey

Part 8

Macey's POV
We were now all in the living room on the sofa and Harvey said "Macey, who's room do you want to sleep in tonight? I would say we could all sleep in the cabin but it's October and the heater is broken in there and I don't want to turn into an ice cube." I knew this meant that I'd have to sleep in one of the boys room and I know they'd make me pick who but I don't want to choose between them. I've slept over many times before but we usually sleep in the cabin and I've never had to sleep in the one of the boys' room since they got separate ones. "Can't we just sleep in here?" I suggested. "No because Max doesn't wake up till the afternoon and Leo is coming back from boarding school for the weekend tomorrow and mum will want it to be clean." Harvey told me "Awe I've missed Leo, he's so much better than you two" I said jokingly. "HEY!" Max shouted and I just laughed at him. "Who's room do you want to sleep in then?" Harvey asked again. "I don't mind, one of you decide" I told them "okay well you can sleep in mine because it's cleaner than Harvey's and you can actually SEE THE FLOOR" he said while laughing and looking at Harvey. "Oh shut up max, but it's sorted then you're sleeping in Max's room tonight." Harvey said. "Talking of sleep, are we actually gonna have any, I'm tired" I said whilst yawning and leaning into Harvey's side for him to put his arm around me. I looked over at Max and he looked a bit... jealous if I had to put a name to his expression, he never cares if I hug Harvey. I passed the thought over my head when Harvey said "why don't we play Among Us for a bit and then we can go up to bed" "sounds good to me, let me put some music on though" Max said "Okay, make sure you put a good song on though" I said to Max "All of my songs are good, what do you mean" Max laughed "Not ALL of them but the vast majority are" i laughed. Max put on his playlist and we were all singing to the words when Harvey said "you know if you weren't so anti-spotlight you could definitely become a singer" and Max agreed along with him. I just laughed at them and said "phaha. No. Not my cuppa tea, I'll leave that to the both of you" and they both shook their heads at me.

It was now 3am and we had been playing Among Us for a good hour and I was on a winning streak of 9 until Max killed me and won as an imposter, and of course he found that absolutely hilarious. "Max Mills, I hate you." I told him while showing no emotion on my face. "You love me really come here" he said while opening his arms for a hug. I went over to him and when I was about to hug him I dabbed and said "sike, you thought, hahahaha" I know not my proudest moment but oh well "nooo I want a hugg come hereeee" Max whined. I gave in and hugged him. About 20 seconds later he took his hat off, bushed through his hair with his fingers and put his hat on my head on an odd angle and then we took loads of pictures of Snapchat together while Harvey was still playing Among Us. I yawned again and cuddled into max more on the sofa and I think he could tell I was really tired because my eyes were beginning to close. "Yo Harv, I'm gonna take Macey upstairs I think she's about to fall asleep" Max said while whispering. "Okay night bro, night Macey, I'll see you both tomorrow" Harvey said "night" me and Max said at the same time.

Max got up and then looked at me and said come on while holding his hand out for me to get up "mm nooo, your room is so far awayyy" I said with my eyes closed in a sleepy voice. "Fine I'll carry you then" Max said while scooping me up in his arms. "NO MAX PUT ME DOWN ILL WALK! PUT ME DOWNNN!!" I screeched but not loud enough to wake everyone else us. "Nope it's too late now" Max said while laughing making his way to the stairs, I looked into his eyes and gave him the puppy eyes and said "plwease" "ugh you know I can't argue with that face" he said while putting me down and laughing a little. "Why thank you sir Maximus" I said while laughing. "Oh no, not the nicknames again" he laughed "Oh yes, the nicknames again" I laughed along. "Why don't you like being picked up anymore, you used to make me carry you all the time when we were younger?" Max queried. "I was a lot lighter then and there was the less of a change that you'd brake your back trying to carry me" I laughed a little while we made our way up both set of stairs. "You are almost as light as Tilly and considering you are 6 years older than her that is saying something" he said "What that I should be lighter" I laughed "no, that you are underweight so tomorrow I am gonna get some food into you" he said while poking my stomach again "you need to stop poking my stomach I laughed at him "never!" He said in a funny voice.

We got into Max's room and I said "Can I have a pillow and a blanket please" "just sleep in the bed with me it's less hassle and it's not like we didn't when we were younger" he told me. "Okay" I said while jumping into his bed. "It's also not like I bite" he laughed. "Well i'd hope not but then again I don't know, you might??" I laughed along. "Night Max" I said while he cuddled me. "Night Macey, I'm so glad you came over tonight" max said. "Me too" I said before cuddling into him more then falling asleep.
