Friends with Max and Harvey

Part 15

Macey's POV
It had been around 4 days since I saw the boys, we have texted a few times but that's it. I got home from school and went to go and have a shower and when I got out I went really dizzy and my head started to hurt and my ears started ringing along with burry vision, I held onto the side of the sink because my legs felt weak but I must have fainted because I remember opening my eyes and I realised I was on the floor. I didn't think much time had passed though because I was still dizzy. I brushed my hair and went downstairs to tell my mum and she said she'd book me doctors appointment before the boys' tour.

I was starting to pack for tour and for the camping trip that we would be going on in 2 days time and I decided to FaceTime Max.

FaceTime Max

Max -Hey love, how are you?

I'm good, I'm just packing. How are you?- Macey

Max-I'm good, are you sure you're okay?
You look pale?

Yeah I'm fine, must be the light. - Macey

I decided not to tell max about me fainting, he would worry too much, it wasn't the first time that I had fainted either so I knew I would be okay, I think anyways.

Me and Max talked for 3 hours over FaceTime and I finally finished packing. I'm not sure yet but I think I might be catching feeling for him, he doesn't feel the same way though and it is ridiculous because he is my best friend and also 2 years older than me, not that it really matters though. I want to tell him how I feel but I don't even know how I feel yet. I might talk to Harvey about it, I doubt he would be much help though because he doesn't have one emotional bone in his body so I might talk to Sara. I know you must be thinking why Sara and not your mum, well I've always been closer to Sara when it comes to feelings and stuff like that, it's just less embarrassing and I'm pretty sure she has wanted something to happen between me and Max for years.

It was the next day and Max told me he'd take me to school so my mum could sleep in. I decided to wake up earlier than usual so I could speak to Sara and so I could wake Max up because knowing him, he had probably forgotten and will still be asleep. I went over to they boys house at 8 so I had around half an hour to talk to Sara and wake Max up.

I knocked on the door and Sara answered with a big smile on her face "Hello darling, Max is still asleep. Do you want to go up and wake him?" She asked letting me in. "I will in a bit, can I please talk to you about something first though, I would talk to my mum but I feel closer to you about this stuff" I asked shyly "of course Macey, come into the living room and tell me what's up" she said and we walked into the living room and sat down. "So what's up?" She asked "Well I think I like someone but I'm not sure how I tell if I do or not" I said looking down at my lap. "Well does this person like you back?" She asked "I don't think so, we've been best friends for years. He has hinted that he might like me but I'm pretty sure he is just joking" I told her "well what do you like about this person?" She asked "He's funny, kind, crazy but in a good way, he can always cheer you even by just being in the same room as you, he makes me happy and I can talk to him and spend time with him for days on end and still not get bored of him and he's always there for me" I told her "Macey, I think you might love this person never mind like them, care to tell me who it is?" She asked well laughing a little "well you know him very very well, he is around 6' he has brown hair, green eyes, he can play the guitar and play many other instrumen-" I said before getting cut off by Sara "SAY NO MORE! IM SO HAPPY! Also he talks about you all the time. I'm pretty certain he likes you too I suggest you just talk to him okay" she said pulling me into a hug and I laughed a little bit "Thank you for everything Sara, I'm going to wake Max up now" I told her and walked upstairs.

I walked through Max's door and jumped right onto him "Tilly go awayyy" he whined with his head in his pillow "Two things. One, I'm not Tilly. Two, wake up lazy and take me to schoollll" I said while laughing and as soon as he heard my voice he turned around to face me and smiled "Heyyy" he said "Heyyy, do you wanna get up now??" I laughed "ugh fine" he said "good I'll go downstairs and wait for you while you get ready" I told him and he nodded.

I was sat downstairs with Tilly and we were eating pop-tarts and then Max came down and wrapped his arms around me which made me jump but I soon relaxed and led my head onto his chest once I saw it was him. "Ready to go?" He asked me "yep!" I said standing up and grabbing my bag, making our way out to his car.

We were half way to school and Max said "I bumped into Harvey when I was about to come downstairs and he said he heard you talking to mum about something, what was that about?" "I just needed advice" I told him "about..??" He asked "you'll find out soon. I need to talk to you about something just not yet" I told him "what about when we go camping then?" He asked "yeah okay" I said while Max pulled up outside of my school "Have a good day" Max said pulling me into a hug "Thanks, you too. I'll probably see you later" I said before he kissed me on the head and I got out of the car.
