Friends with Max and Harvey

Part 16

Macey's POV
It it now Saturday and we were going camping and I'm very excited to go. It's currently 10am and I am walking over to Max and Harvey's and then we are gonna go and pick up Tom and Dobby.

I walked straight through their front door and shouted that I was here and then Harvey came running down the stairs and said hi to me and hugged me and took my bag off me to go and put it in Max's car and then Max appeared from the kitchen. "Hey, you excited?" He asked "YES! Well I am about the campfire and marshmallows, not about having to spend the weekend with you" I joked while making a disgusted face at Max while pointing at him. Max put his hand on his heart and said "I can't believe you just said that, I'm sorry but if you want to come, you're gonna have to walk!" And then he crossed his arms "NO! Don't make me walk I'm sorryyyyy it was a joke" I said smiling at him "I know" he said smiling back and then pulling me into a hug which was then Interrupted by Harvey saying "Okay lovebirds, break it up, we need to go now." I blushed a little and I looked at Max and he was too, maybe he does like me.

We were about to get into the car and I said "Can I please go in the front, Harvey always pokes me when he's near me" "What! No I dont." Harvey said while poking me to wind me up. "See, Max please" I said looking at him with puppy eyes. "No Macey don't do that, I already said Tom could go in the front" he said trying not to give in. "Okay" I said sounding upset "ugh fine you can go in the front but you have to explain to Tom why you are in the front and not him" Max said "Yay! Thank you!" I said getting into the front of the car and I'm pretty sure Harvey called Max a simp.

We had already got Dobby and we had just pulled up outside Toms and when he came to the car he got in the back once he saw me in the front and said "oi I thought you said I could go in the front" "yeah ask Macey why you're now in the back" Max said and Tom looked at me "Well basically Max just loves me, there's nothing else to it." I said with a straight face and Max looked and me and shook his head and turned the engine on and drove to the campsite.

We got to the campsite around half an hour ago and we had now put up the 2 tents that we took with us. "Right who's sleeping where?" Dobby asked "I don't mind put me with whoever" Tom said "Why don't we do me and Tom and then you three can go together" Dobby proposed we all agreed and started to put our stuff from the car and into the tent. Once we had finished me and Max said we would go and find some wood that we could use for a fire and the boys said they'd go to the shop to get some marshmallows.

Me and Max went off onto the woods behind the campsite and we were just making jokes the whole time until I got dizzy again like I did the other day and I stopped walking and Max asked "woah are you okay, you look pale" and I didn't reply I just fell to the ground but Max caught me just in time. I opened my eyes and Max was sat with me on the floor making a fuss over me "Hey! Are you okay! What just happened" "I'm not sure I just went dizzy and my eyes went blurry and I guess I fell. It happened the other day too that's why I looked pale on FaceTime but I said I was fine because I didn't want you to worry" I told him "Well of course I'm gonna worry, people don't just faint and collapse for no reason, you should have told me" he said "I know, I'm going to the doctors next week before tour" I told him. "We don't have to camp tonight, we can go home, I need to know you're okay" he said worried "No I want to stay, I'll be fine, I promise" I told him "Macey I'm not too sur-" "PLEASE! I promise I'm okay." I said interrupting him "hmm okay but tell me if you feel like you're gonna faint again and just take it easy" he said "okay I will" I told him "I think we have enough wood, let's go back and we can get you some water" he told me and I just nodded still not feeling the greatest.

We got back and saw Harvey, Tom and Dobby and as soon as Harvey saw me he came up to me and said "Oh my god, are you okay? You look really pale" and hugged me "woah! Be careful with her, she just fainted" Max told Harvey being cautious. I didn't really say anything because I just wanted to sit down and close my eyes. "What happened is she okay?" Harvey asked Max after I walked over to Tom and Dobby "I'm not sure she said she was, I think she just wants to sit down" Harvey nodded and they both came over and Tom started the fire since it was cold and it was gonna be dark soon. Max and Harvey sat either side of me and hugged me and they kept asking if I was okay, I told them I was. It was now dark and we had been laughing and making jokes and talking for around two hours and I said "I'm gonna go to the toilet, I'll be back in a minute" "I'll come with you, just in case you faint again" Max said "The toilets are right there, I'll be okay" I told him and he nodded unsure and I walked off.

Max's POV
"You're so overprotective of her man" Tom laughed with Harvey and Dobby joining in. "So is Harvey just not as much" Dobby added still laughing "she's been our best friend since she was 5, of course I'm gonna be overprotective of her" I said "Then why are you way more overprotective than Harvey is" Tom laughed "Because he likes her" Dobby laughed "Correction, he loves her" Harvey added "oh shut up" I told them while shaking my head "Well he didn't deny it" Tom laughed and Max just shook his head at them again.

Macey's POV
I got back and asked "Can we eat marshmallows now?" "Yeah let me get the sticks out of the tent" Harvey said and I went to sit down next to max and he put his arm around my waist and hugged me. We ate loads of marshmallows and mine set on fire and I put it towards Harvey and he said "Woah watch the hair" "it's probably gonna fall out soon anyways" I laughed with everyone else joining in.

It was now 12 and me and Max were getting tired so we said goodnight to everyone and we went into our tent and Harvey said he would just sleep in Tom and Dobby's so he wouldn't wake us up when he goes to bed. Me and Max got into the tent and I shivered and got under all of the blankets and duvets that we brung and Max said "cold??" While laughing and little "yes!" I said snuggling into the blankets more. "Before you go to sleep can I ask you something?" Max asked "you just did but go on" I laughed a little "What were you gonna talk to me about" he asked "oh god, okay" I said whispering to myself and sitting up to face him "So basically it's kinda what I was talking to your mum about the other day, I told her I like someone.." I said I and Max's face dropped "I told her who and she gave me some advice and she was also happy" I said "How come you didn't tell me who you like? you always tell Me" Max said "let me finish, she suggested that I spoke to the person I liked because she seems to think he likes me too, I just don't really know what to say and I don't think he likes me back" I told him "so who do you like?" He asked sounding a bit upset and I looked up at him and looked into his eyes and said "you" in a faint voice "WAIT WHAT!" He said "I knew I shouldn't have told you and now I've probably ruined our whole friendsh-" I got cut off by Max kissing me and after a couple of seconds I pulled away and looked at him "Sorry, I've wanted to do that for ages" he said scratching the back of his neck. "So you like me too?" I asked "I have for ages I just didn't want to tell you incase you didn't like me back" he said "ASK HER OUT!" We heard Harvey shout from outside of the tent and we both laughed "I wanted to do this in a much nicer way but, Macey, would you please be my girlfriend?" He asked while smiling at me "I'd love to" I said before laughing and kissing him again and then we heard a load of "ooo's" from the boys outside. "As happy as i am, I'm really tired and need to go to sleep so goodnight Max" I said "Goodnight Macey" Max said before pulling me into him and hugging me and we fell asleep in each other's arms.
