@Bloodyruby12 Here is the Ishimondo oneshot you requested back in October!! I am so sorry love that it took this long to get it out!! But between my mental health and my computer breaking and then having to change it from Halloween to Christmas it took A LOT longer than I was hoping. But after spending 3 days fixing it up and 2 monsters at 2 in the morning its finished!! Hope you enjoy! <333

Taka was alone this Christmas. Again. His father was always too busy to spend any time with him. Taka acted like he understood and most times he did but, this time he didn't. Everyone else gets to spend Christmas with their family. Why doesn't mine want to spend it with me? Taka sat down on his bed and scrolled through his phone. Is EVERYONE with their family right now?! He kept scrolling through his contacts until he got to Mondo. He would be spending Christmas alone also. I wonder if he would want to spend it with me? Taka took a deep breathe in before pressing the contact number and putting it up to his ear. It rang for a couple of seconds before he heard a familiar voice.

"Hello?"

The voice made Taka feel warm and happy. He always felt safe around Mondo. I mean it's natural to feel safe around your best friend and wanting to spend every day with them. Right?

"Hello Mondo!"

"Oh hey Taka! Whats up?"

"I was um- wondering what you were doing for Christmas?"

"Why? Aren't you spending it with your dad?"

"No. He is still working and won't be home until late."

"And I was wondering, perhaps you would like to come over and we could spend christmas together."

"Hell yeah! I don't have anything better to do!"

"Language Mondo."

"Oh sorry. Cya in a bit!"

"Bye!"

Taka the click and pulled the phone away from his ear. He guessed that it would probably take Mondo about 20 minutes to get here so he decided to get some stuff ready. He went downstairs into his living room and pulled out some blankets and set them on the couch. Then he cleaned up and sat down. Taka planned out their evening of watching movies, drinking tea, and maybe ordering a pizza. He got up and went into the kitchen and got out the kettle and some cups to prepare it for tea. He filled the kettle in the sink and placed it on the stove and turned it on. Before the water could start boiling he heard his doorbell ring. Has it already been twenty minutes? Taka walked to the door and opened it to see his best friend. Taka forgot how pretty Mondo was. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail and not in his normal pompadour. His icy lilac eyes complimented by his bizarre eyeliner. He was wearing a white tank top that was tight around his body defining it nicely along with sweatpants and some sneakers. Then Taka realized what he was wearing. A tank top. Taka frowned and glared at Mondo. Mondo awkwardly smiled at Taka. "Mondo Owada." Taka stood straight and crossed his arms. "What are you wearing?" Mondo looked down. "Clothes." He gave Taka a mischievous grin. Taka frowned at him further. "It's cold and you're wearing a tank top." Mondo looked down at his clothes once more. "Sorry?" Taka sighed and let Mondo in. Mondo sat down on the couch while Taka went back into the kitchen to wait for the water to boil. "So what are we going to do?" Mondo looked over at Taka while he took the kettle off of the stove. "I was planning on watching movies and maybe ordering a pizza." Taka poured the water in the cups and added the tea bags. "Oh that sounds like fun." Taka sat down next to Mondo and handed him his tea. They sat for a moment drinking their tea when Monod had an idea. "Bro I have an idea!" Taka sat down his tea. "What is it?" Mondo was smiling like a child. Taka couldn't help but smile too. Mondos' smile made Taka uncontrollably happy and he felt warm and fuzzy. What is this feeling? "How about instead of ordering a pizza we make one!" Taka smiled and got up and headed toward the kitchen. Mondo quickly jumped up and ran after him. Taka rummaged through his fridge and got out ingredients. "Don't we need a recipe?" Mondo asked Taka. Taka shook his head. "It's simple enough that we don't need a recipe." Taka stood at the counter organizing the ingredients. Mondo stood behind him and put his hands on the counter in front of him and Taka. Taka froze for a second feeling his face heat up. He knew that Mondo was probably teasing him. Mondo! Stop playing with my feelings!! "How do we start?" Taka took a deep breath in before continuing. "We need to make the dough." Taka grabbed the ingredients off of the counter and put them in the bowl and began to mix it. "Go grab the can opener out of the drawer." Mondo walked over to the drawer and pulled out the can opener and opened the tomato paste. Taka rolled out the dough and Mondo opened the can and poured it onto the dough. "Do you want any certain toppings?" Mondo shook his head and grabbed the cheese and poured all of it one pizza in one spot. Mondo smirked and started to chuckle. Taka took some of the flour and blew it in Mondo's face. "You jerk!!" Mondo yelled. Taka started to giggle until Mondo took some of the leftover tomato paste and smeared it on Takas face. "Hey!!" they both started laughing. Mondo's laugh was contagious and Taka always broke out laughing after Mondo. They both cleaned off their faces and Taka put the pizza in the oven. They went back into the living room and sat down on the couch. He grabbed the remote and put on a Christmas movie. They both sat in silence for a moment when Mondo decided to lay down on Takas lap. He was startled at first but then calmed down realizing it meant nothing and that Mondo was just messing with him. Mondo reached up and touched Takas face. "Y'know Taka you have really pretty eyes." Taka could feel his face getting red and looked away from him. Mondo put his hand down and flipped toward the TV still laying on Takas lap. Why are you doing this to me Mondo? Do you know or are you messing with me as a joke? The oven went off and Mondo sat up. Taka quickly got up and speed walked to the kitchen. He took out the pizza and set it on top of the oven. He turned off the oven and stood holding his head in his hands for a moment. His face became incredibly flushed and he felt like screaming. He was so confused he didn't know what he was feeling. Was he really crushing on his best friend? Did Mondo like him back or was he just playing with him? Taka had so many questions but he didn't have time for that. Taka grabbed the pizza cutter out of the drawer and brought him and Mondo a slice. Taka and Mondo sat down and continued eating their pizza while watching the movie. Taka was tired but he didn't want to make Mondo go home. His eyelids were starting to droop until he couldn't keep them open anymore. He fell asleep and placed his head onto Mondos shoulder without realizing. Now it was Mondo's turn to feel flustered. Mondo couldn't help but smile. He liked Taka more than as a friend. Mondo thought Taka was perfect. His hair, his skin, his eyes, the way he would scowl and try and look threatening, even his eyebrows which Mondo knew he was self conscious about. Everything about Taka was perfect to him. He didn't know how Taka felt but he was hoping he felt the same way. Mondo was too scared to ask Taka how he felt so instead he would just try and hint to how he felt. But right now Mondo was just going to enjoy this moment. He closed his eyes and smiled leaning his head on Takas which was resting on his shoulder. 

Takaai came home late. He felt bad for making his son stay home alone on Christmas but when he walked in the door he realized his son wasn't alone. Taka was sleeping on the couch with a boy he was familiar with. Takaaki was happy Taka found someone to spend Christmas with. Even if he didn't care for the person he was spending it with. He chuckled to himself. Better to get used to it. Takaai thought. I feel like I am going to be seeing you a lot more Mondo Owada.
