"Woah!! So many new smells--is there a new pastry shop nearby?! Oh--I wish they sold Churros here in Japan--!!" (L/n) giggles with excitement bubbling all over the place. On minute she'd be in awe of the apparently new buildings, and the next she'd be chasing after something new that's caught her attention.
"(L/n), you need to focus." He interjected with a sigh. Her ears droop guiltily; it had been a really long time since she's last visited Hosu city. Back when she traveled there the crime-rate wasn't as high, and things were really calm there. She and her mother went there for her sister's wedding. It wasn't really (S/n)'s choice. It was merely a planned wedding. By none other than their grandfather.
"I'm sorry Keigo! My nose is going crazy--its like everythings hitting me at once..." She plays with the tip of her tail anxiously. A tall man with a broad frame shoved passed her; obviously frustrated at the pace she was going. In the distance he hissed a slur her way.
"What's a sleazy...bambi?" She tilted her head to the side. "U-Uh that's not--" he glanced up at her, innocent features and found himself sweating buckets. "It's a..really--uhh, happy person...?" He gave an anxious cough, "You do remember where your sister is right?"
She nods; waving her hand dismissively "Pfft--I know that by heart. I got this Keigo! You'll be back to normal real soon."
He facepalms, "You're about to walk into traffic." (L/n)'s eyes jolted wide, and she halted right in front of the crosswalk.
"I-I knew that, Ha--" they're shoved around yet again; this time resulting in someone's belongings being scewered in the sidewalk floor. (L/n) bends over to pick up the suit-cases dropped by who appeared to be an elderly man.
"Oops! Here you are sir!
Ha--you dropped this!" Almost immidiately he gave her an icy glare; tearing his belongings from her grip. "Don't touch my shit, you little rat--!!"(L/n) winces; watching him storm off. She'd encountered very blatant coldness before, but this sort of caught her off guard.
Keigo sighs, glancing up at her. "Don't let it get to you. That's just how people are around here."
"It's alright, ha! I guess I should've expected this." They were both interupted by the vigorous growl of her stomach. She blushed; pinning her ears back nervously. "Oof. Looks like we're gonna need to make one quick pit-stop."
"Are you sure it can't wait?" Keigo retorted, giving a tired sigh. "Well--?" It's Keigo's stomach that sounded off this time, causing the pro to wince, before sulking against the fabric of her shirt. (L/n) gave a bubbly giggle; her tail swishing profusely. "Looks like it can't--!!"
"Hmm, there used to be the best soba place around here..." (L/n) scratches her cheek with her index finger, curiously. "Well make up your mind. We don't have all day."
"Come on Keigo, you really need to loosen up." She gives him a scratch on the head; or at least she tried to, but she caught her finger. "I'll loosen up, when I'm normal again." He stated bluntly before huffing.
"You're just grumpy cause your hungry. I smell something amazing!" She cheered before skipping along, oblivious to the weary glances she was getting from all over. This city was black and white, yet she was so colorful she was practically leaving a trail of sparkly glitter in her wake.
But people were starting to look their way. All kinds of people. Unwanted eyes would be on them; hell they could be spotted a mile away. Sure he was unnoticeable, but with the way she was leaping around it was only a matter of time before he really would catch someone's eye.
The embarrassment that washed over him--being the size of a mere fly--the thought of being spotted in some teenagers bra; traveling around one of the most crime infested cities in Japan so far left a migraine pulsating around the corner of his head.
