Ray smiled and rolled his eyes at Phoebes comment.

Don threw a rope that was tied around a rock and it wrapped around a branch on the other side of the cliff. Everyone cheered and Nat tied the rope on a tree on the side that they were on.

"So then...we're gonna..." Ray stressed.

"It's fine. The first person just has to cross." Emma smiled and Don put a hanger on the rope with his hand tied to one side of the hanger.

Don went down the rope and everyone watched anxiously.

He landed in the tree and held up a lantern. Everyone cheered and Ray stared in disbelief.

"You're both crazy..." Ray looked at Emma and Phoebe.

"Says the Pyro who tried to light himself on fire." Phoebe raised an eyebrow and glared at him.

"Okay we're up next!" Lannion and Thoma announced, posing and holding up water bottle rockets.

"Ready...Go!" They yelled and set them off, they made it to the other side and Don tied the ropes to the trees.

"We did it!" They cheered and everyone started jumping with excitement.

"Alright were all good!" Don announced, signaling for kids to start coming down.

Nat was next.

"See you later Ray!" He announced while going past Ray.

Anna, and Emma started helping kids down.

~ Ray POV~

"Well Ray?"

I froze before turning my head to see a familiar face. I regained my composure and smirked. I turned my head away from him and my smile fell.

"What a smug face. It's irritating." I said nonchalant.

"Just admit it. We completely fooled you didn't we?" Norman shrugged with a proud smile on his face.

" 'We'll show you something cool so shut up and follow.' Huh?"

"And I kept my word." Norman said while watching as the children zipped through the air.

"Look. We never thought something like this was possible." Norman smiled.

"Yeah. Honestly. Taking everyone seemed like a pipe dream. I kinda figured they'd all just hold us back." I kept my eyes forward.

"You weren't the only one. But I made my decision in the end. All because of Emma. Thanks to her, everyone joined without question. She's reckless and naive, but true to herself. She could say that we're taking everyone without wavering." Norman turned his head to face me.

I turned my head and looked at Phoebe, she was looking up at the stars then she looked down to the kids.

"The way you look at her..." Norman smiled and I froze.

"What do you mean." I glared.

"No need to lie. I knew what I saw before all of this happened. Every time you look at her, I see a glimmer in your eyes. Don't lie to yourself about how you feel towards somebody." Normans smile fell as he looked towards Emma.

"I wish I had time to tell her how I felt. Don't make the same mistake. You don't have to give up, okay Ray?"

I was about to respond, my face felt warm. But when I looked up, he was gone. I felt my eyes start to burn.

"I promise."
