"Several years ago, a group named the 'GameGrumps' mysteriously disappeared from their office in Los Angeles but the case was never taken forward until today when new evidence cropped up which could give investigators an idea on what happened to these missing people." The lady on the TV spoke. If you hadn't been watching the screen then you wouldn't have guessed that she was in her late forties, small strands of grey hair showing through her overly dyed 'natural' brown colour. If you had been watching the screen then you have in fact got that information. Not that it was important though, what was important was the thing she was reporting. I had heard about that disappearance and how it was never looked into and it was rather strange to me, it was almost as if they didn't want anyone to find out about it. Of course people found out about it though, either from nosey neighbours or people who were there at the scene of the crime. If I remember correctly there were five people; Arin, Danny, Suzy, Barry and Ross; that went missing. Their bodies were never found either so it was unclear what happened to them. It happened in their office space and apparently someone broke in and nothing after that was confirmed. Some spectate that they were killed, others say they were kidnapped. There are many variations of the same story so there's no sure fire way to know what's true.

"I'm here with Officer Jones who will give us more insight to the case. Officer Jones?" The camera switched from the woman in the newsroom to the newsreporter outside a while ago but I wasn't paying any notice, now I was just listening.

"We believe we have found some trace to the missing people. Actually we have it on video and it clearly shows two people who matched the specifications of two of the males who disappeared; Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan." The report cut to the police video where two silhouettes could be seen moving around the room, one with straight hair and the other had very curly hair. The time at the bottom of the screen read 'two forty-eight am' but the curly haired one spots the camera and slowly approaches it before readying a punch and knocking the cameras out. I ignore the rest of the report as my thoughts begin to block everything else out.

"That guy, he didn't really seem human. The only thing that could be considered remotely human is his noticeable hair. His movements were slow and laggy and his eyes were hollowed out." I begin to speak my thoughts aloud to myself before leaning back in my chair, "It might have just been me, I'm not sure. I kinda want to know more about this though but how? The only way I can find anything out is through the news and they'll only give old information for a few days." I say with a small sigh, "I suppose I should wait a few days just to see if anything else does come up. I'm not really doing much anyway."

"Breaking news; The office where the disappearance of five people occurred is being re-opened to potential buyers. Here's our reporter, Rosalina, to give us an insight into this." I sit up in my chair, this is what I've been waiting for. I'm not sure why I've become so emotionally invested in this case but I have to know everything about it. At least that's what my mind is telling me.

"I'm here once again with Officer Jones who recently told us that the office space is being considered for re-opening despite the rumours of the place being 'cursed'. What do you have to say on this, officer?" The reporter points the microphone in the officers direction and he begins to speak into it, "To look further into this case we have to re open it, and of course we need someone to look after the place over the course of five days. None of our men will go near the place. They believe the rumours, and I don't blame them. I personally don't want to do this job either but anyone who has half a brain would know not to go anywhere near this place. It's a definite death sentence." By the time he had finished his sentence, I had already gotten my jacket and ran out of the door. Something is driving me towards this case and I gotta find out what it is, no matter what. If it means putting my life on the line then that's what I'll do. I have nothing much going for me anyway, now do I?
