Night four. Finally, I'm getting closer to the end of this long treacherous trek. It's beginning to take its toll on both Jon and I so the quicker we get this done, the quicker we can both get home and forget about this.

We both walk up the all too familiar stairs which lead into the office space. It was awfully quiet and that was never a good sign-- I've watched enough horror movies to know that. I notice a big sign plastered onto the wall opposite me and upon further inspection, it seemed to be a notice for the future plans of this building.

NOTICE

All tenants of this building must move out by the end of the working week as this site is scheduled for demolition. Thank you for your co-operation.

"Damn. They sure don't waste any time, huh?" Jon says out of the blue, "It's twelve... why hasn't Holly called yet?" He adds as he changes the subject. I hadn't even though about that; why hasn't Holly called yet? She always calls at twelve and it's at least ten past twelve already. Maybe she's busy?

"Oh well. Guess we can't worry about that right now. We should get ready in case the Grumps decide to attack us when we're not looking." Jon says as he slinks away into the Game Room; we had claimed that room and decided to use it as our little hideout. It was better than being out in the open anyway.

I take my notebook out from my back pocket and look through the pages, I hadn't written anything since a few nights ago so I decide to document everything that happens tonight. As the week progresses, I can see something strange about the animatronics. At the beginning, they were somewhat sentient and had control over their thoughts but as the week goes on, the sentience has disappeared and their human thoughts are replaced with that of a killer robot.

Clunk clunk clunk. My head shoots up from my monitor and I try to find the source of the strange noise but to no avail. I pass it off as just my imagination playing dirty tricks on me and I go back to my monitor when I hear a broken voice call out Jon's name.

"Jon... Jon... We kn-know." Arin's all too familiar voice calls from down the hallway. I turn to Jon who has a worried expression painted across the empty canvas of his face. I narrow my eyes at him as if to say, "What does he mean?" but Jon remains silent.

Scratch scratch scratch. "Let me in. W-We can so-sort this out if you just let me talk to you." Arin taunts as he begins to claw at the door just like he had done for the past few nights. The door was getting weaker and weaker with every time that Arin dragged his heavy metal claws down it. I hear the door squeak and groan at the hinges and I know that it was ready to fall at any moment.

I see Jon's face shine in the light of the monitor, his face was dripping with sweat and it was obvious that he was nervous-- but not in the same way as me. It was as if he had something to hide but what?

"You k-killed hh-her, didn't y-you? Tell you-your friend wh-what you ha-have done." Arin says as he stops the clawing at the door. Silence fills the empty space between us all and I look at Jon once again.

"What does Arin mean?" I sputter out. My voice was cracking and breaking from the sheer terror and nervousness I was currently experiencing. Jon stays silent and I hear Arin walk away from the door, maybe he got bored or maybe he went to get the others. At this point I didn't care, I just wanted to know what he meant by "you killed her".

"Alright fine! I... I couldn't take it anymore! I just couldn't. Arin had replaced me so easily, it was like he didn't care about me anymore. Then Dan came along, of course everyone loved him. He was attractive and funny! No one in the Office cared about me anymore, they loved Dan."

"It just happened. I didn't know what was happening at the time but I remember seeing Dan on the floor beneath me, his hands in front of his face and tears streaming down his terrified face. There was blood everywhere and I needed a place to hide the body. I remembered that I took a few years at a robotics course while I was still in school so I replicated Dan out of metal."

"Then it was Ross, then Barry and Suzy and then... Arin. I thought I would get more pleasure out of killing them and getting my revenge but it hurt me a lot more than I expected. I built robot replicas of them all and I stuffed the bodies inside them. Of course I cleaned them up first and I never expected for people to find out about this. It was only a matter of time before it happened obviously but I was trying to escape the country but it was too late. There was another person escaped the night as well as Holly."

"Who?" I ask after a few seconds of remaining completely silent as I attempt to take in all this information. He did kill them then. I would never have pass him as the killer type if I'm honest.

"Kevin. I let him take the rap for me in exchange for his life and now he's in another country thanks to me. And now that I've confessed myself to you, I think it's time for you to die." Jon says darkly as he approaches me with a sharp object. Panic shoots through my body and I'm unable to move my body no matter how hard I try. Jon gets closer to me and I see him raise the sharp object above my head. I close my eyes and try to shield myself as it was the best thing I could do in this situation. The seconds pass and I feel nothing, I hear nothing.

I open my eyes and Jon is no longer there, it's as if he just disappeared. I look down at my hands and clench them, I still can't believe that he did that. It was jealously that drove him to do it, he was jealous of Dan and he felt like no one cared. It still doesn't make what he did any better but I have a better understand of why he did it.

The remaining two hours I have in here weren't that eventful. The occasional Grump would come to the door and they would sometimes chant strange things but the strangest one in my opinion was, "He's always watching". Was that a reference to the Grumps? To Jon? To whoever else was here and I didn't know about?

There was still one question left unanswered; what happened to Holly? Did Jon kill her too? I hope not... I suppose that question will be answered tomorrow as its nearly six am.

Five, four, three, two, one. Ding dong. I wasn't as excited to leave here as I had been a few nights ago but I was grateful to get out. Jon and I came in together and now I'm the only one to leave. I walk down the stairs and I spot dark patches on the wall. I try my best to ignore it but when I get down the stairs, I step in a dark puddle of mysterious liquid. I look down at my shoes terrified and I realised that I stepped in blood. Not just any blood...

Jon's.

{hey guys. wow this was eventful huh? turns out Jon was the killer lmao. don't worry there's another night to go and I decided to skip the day part bc a) that's sorta boring and b) I'll only have one chapter left to write uwu. also hey hey I made a playlist for this book on soundcloud, I'll post it in the comments lmao okay bye}
