A boy around 8 years old with a charmander roamed around the streets in the nighttime. As they both were walking and admiring the scenario of the city, they soon collided with a person and the boy fell down, when he saw the person with whom he just collided, he got a glimpse, the said person was a man who seemed to be around 48-50 years old, and was wearing a white lab coat, with a shopping bag in his left hand.

??? - Ouch! I'm sorry sir. Please forgive me. I was not paying attention while I walking. Charmander say sorry to sir.

Charmander - char char charmander (I'm sorry)

??? - Don't say sorry, son. It's Ok, I wasn't paying attention either. What are you doing son in this cold night and where are you parents?. Also, don't get me wrong but, Is this your charmander?.

??? - (sad) Umm!, actually I never saw my parents and I also don't know who are they, and Yes! This is my buddy, Charmander whom I befriended in the forest. Sir, You kinda look familiar, May I know who you are?

??? - Oh! Where are my manners. I'm Professor Oak, as you know I am Kanto's Regional Professor.
What's your name my boy?, and I'm sorry for your past life.

??? - Its Ok sir, I have Charmander with me all the time. I'm Ash and I live in a cave in the middle of the forest.

Charmander - char char (Hungry) (pointing towards its stomach)

Ash - Oh! I literally forgot Charmander but don't worry I will get some food from any local shop.

Prof. Oak - (thinking) This kid has no parents and he lives in a cave with a charmander, plus struggles to get food for himself and his charmander, What If I take him with me to the lab, he will get a place to live, food, I will have someone to look after as Gary is in summer camp in Sinnoh, OK! I will take Ash with me and support him as much as I can)
(As you know Gary is Prof. Oak's grandson)

Ash - Professor Oak, It was nice to meet you, but we have to leave. Charmander let's go or else the shops will shut down. (starts walking along with charmander but was soon stopped by Prof. Oak, they both faced Prof. Oak)

Prof. Oak - Wait Ash!, I have to something on my mind and I want you to hear me out, plus I also need your permission regarding a serious topic (bending down so it matches Ash's height) As you don't have anyone to look after you except for Charmander and you said you live in a cave in the forest. So I have decided to take you and the little guy (Charmander) with me to my lab + house so that I can look after you, where you can have the feeling of HOME, say Ash would you and charmander like to come with me and be a part of my family.🙂

Ash & Charmander - (shocked after hearing what Prof. Oak said)

Ash - WHATTT! But why Professor, why?, Neither of us know each other personally, we just met few minutes ago and now you are saying you want to help me out.

Prof. Oak - Well you see I just have a grandson and his age is also same as yours, plus we both will have a new member. You will also feel safe and you don't have to roam around for food. So tell me wanna come with me and start a good life.(smiling)

Ash & Charmander - (Both started crying)
TT-Thank You Professor, Thank You very much that you are helping me.😢 Yes, I accept your offer and I will come with you. Is it ok Charmander??

Charmander - char char charrmander charrr charrman (happy)

Prof. Oak - (delighted) Well Its done then, Come with me Ash and Charmander. Let's go to Pallet town together and there you will meet my grandson Gary. He sure will be very much happy as he will get someone to play with. Here grab my hand and lets go.
