'Roommates_'

Author's pov.

You and Alex were roommates.

One day, you came back, feeling pretty shitty, because you didn't really have a great day, you know?

At that time, Alex was streaming on his twitch channel. You could hear him laugh, the usual text to speech from donations, and him saying some stuff.

You opened the door to your room, went inside and put down your things. The next thing you do is fall onto the bed, just laying there.

After a minute, or more, you could hear some footsteps. You look up a bit, so you could see the door, right when it opened. It was your roommate obviously, Alex.

"Oh hey, welcome back!" He said with a smile. You felt the corners of your mouth go up, smiling a bit. "Hey there duck boy, yeah I'm back."

"Before I go back, how was your day? Huhuh?" He asked. You just sighed, "Well, uh, it was okay I guess, could have been better ahah."

"Man.. well, wait for me, I'll make you feel better." Alex chuckles, and leaves your room. Definitely to continue the stream.

You decided to get up, and change into some comfier clothes. You brushed your hair, and then went back on your bed again.

After some minutes, you could hear the same footsteps. And then the door opening.

"Hey hey, I'm back to you!" Alex said, closing the door, and coming to sit down on your bed. You looked at him, and just asked, "You finished streaming, huh?"

He nods, "Decided to end it a bit earlier, so I can come and make you feel bit better, you know?" You stare at him. Wh-

"Why exactly-?" You say, laying your head back down.

"You're my roommate, and my friend, a good friend in fact, so I just have to." Alex simply replies, smiling again.

You just nod, "Uhuh, yeah yeah."

Then, he pulls you closer to himself, and hugs you tight. "How bout you tell me how your day went? And I can try making it better?"

Silence I-

"..Fine." You mumble, hugging him back.

So you told Alex about your day, some things that happened, while you two were lowkey cuddling on your bed.

From time to time, he would say a joke about something, and you two would just start laughing.

"Soo, did I make you feel better?" He asked, grinning. You just giggled, "Yeah, you sure did.. Thanks, Alex."

"No problem, you short ass." Alex simply said.
