CHAPTER 16: No Way

Jennies POV

A week has passed, but I can still feel Lisa lips brushing over mine. How her breath smells like heaven to me, and how we are about to kiss that time if not because of my ever so great sister. I was about to give my first kiss to Lisa, to feel how to be kissed by someone you like. But as cliché as it is, maybe It's not the right time.

In that week, Rosé got a pretty great scold from me, of course as well as my sister for lying and keeping secrets from me. Before they got to ask on what happened to Lisa and I the day they just showed up like poop in our so called moment, I immediately made my drama. Of course, not to brag how smart I am, which, is true. I made them my 5 days slave, oh the cleverness in me! But don't get me wrong, I am so happy for the both of them, and I support them hundred percent, but they have to pay. I made them buy my lunch, treat me with my favorites, of course shut their mouths when they are about to tease me again with the tall creature who's been avoiding me for a couple of days now. I think.

Speaking of her, I feel like Lisa's been avoiding me since that encounter in her apartment. She's attending class, but talk less. She's also hanging out less with us and I don't know why and I am dying to know why. One time, I gather all my courage to ask her whats wrong, but every time I do, there's always getting in the way, either there's someone calling her phone and needed to leave or the professor will ask something from me.

It's Saturday, Jisoo and I were hanging out with our friends here inside the mall. We are currently inside a clothes shop.

"What do you think what happened to Lisa? She barely hangout with us." I thought I was the only one who noticed it, but I guess my friends too.

"Yeah, I notice that too, do you know anything Jen?" Rosé asked, I just shrug at them. As much as I wanted to know also what's happening to Lisa but me also don't have any idea.

"I kinda miss that crazy head." Me too Jisoo, me too. Sighing from Jisoo's statement, I headed straight to the counter to pay for my purchase. Few minutes more of rummaging inside the clothes shop, we decided to walk towards a restaurant to take our lunch.

"Hey is that Lisa?" Wendy pointed at a certain blonde girl we've been talking about a while ago. I squint my eyes, trying to asses if Wendy is right, and I am pretty sure that is Lisa.

"Wait, is she with a guy??" I don't know why, but my hands started to grip on the shopping bags I am holding. I'm restraining myself to look at Lisa direction again for the reason that I don't know, but somehow my eyes have their own mind and still move its way to their direction, and before it could landed to them, they already walked outside the exit door.

"Maybe she's just with a friend." I told them, but more to myself.

"Or a boyfriend." Momo said. Jisoo elbowed her causing her to shut her mouth, realizing what maybe Jisoo meant. They all know I like Lisa, I decided not to hide anything from them again. Rosé quickly led us inside a restaurant changing the topic since she notice my quietude.

My friends keep on talking and eating but I seem to lose my appetite, I was just playing with my food. What if Lisa's got a boyfriend? Am I too late? Am I the only one feeling this weird feeling she's giving me? Are those sweet gestures with me just nothing and just being her usual self since we are kids? If that, I don't know what to feel. I was starting to contemplate all the mixed feelings she's giving me, and started to admit that I really like her but right now I don't know.

"Jendueki." We are now inside the car on our way to our house, I am at the back seat just looking outside the window thinking things when Jisoo called my attention.

"Are you ok? You've been silent for a few hours now." She looked at the rear-view mirror of the car. Sighing for the nth time now, I know I have to let this out.
