Con-Air, South Dallas

Jimmy was surrounded by several other inmates as he was being moved from isolation to -the bus with several others. He noticed everyone was in shackles like him. Once he was on the bus, the shackles around his ankles were locked down to the bus floor. As the bus drove to the airstrip, he could see his reflection in the window. He hadnt been able to shave for a while and he was getting a beard. How he despised the thought. His face was constantly itching him.

The bus arrived about an hour later at an airport somewhere south of Dallas. All the inmates were transferred to a small charter plane that was designed for the transport of prisoners only.

After all the prisoners were locked down to the floor again, the U.S. Marshals were going over the flight manifest with the captain and copilot, telling them what city they had to make a drop off (San Angelo, 3; Roswell, 2; Phoenix,7; and then Sacramento, 3).

After everything was covered, the Marshals went to buckle into their seats while the captain and his copilot got the plane started and in the air.

After a few hours, the plane was entering California and the Doppler was showing a heavy cloud coverage in their flight path.

The captain called the tower in Sacramento. Sacramento International, this is flight 5-8-2-7. Do you copy?

The tower responded back Yes, flightis-8-2-7, we read you, over!

Could you tell us what the weather is doing in your area? Were headed to your direction and our Doppler shows heavy cloud coverage nearby. Can you confirm? Over.

The tower checked their radar and confirmed the bad weather the plane was approaching. We see the storm and it looks to be covering all of Sacramento. We advise going around bearing 121.4 degrees. That should see you safely to San Francisco International airport. We will notify them of whats going on and to expect you.

Copy that tower and thanks.

As the plane was trying to get around, the plane was hitting some turbulence along the way. As the plane called the tower in San Francisco, the plane was hitting more wind shear. By the time the pilots were given their vector, they were setting up for a descent.

The Doppler was still showing heavy cloud coverage and the windows were still being hit by the rain. As the plane started its decent, more turbulence shook the plane but as the pilots were trying to compensate for the winds, one of the flaps was knocked off by the wind.

As the plane was still descending, the lightning was striking out, hitting one of the engines, catching it on fire. One of the pilots saw the one of the engine lights blinking and checked the engine outside the window. He flipped the switch to extinguish the fire.

The turbulence got worse as the plane was approaching the main land, bouncing the plane off its course. As they got closer to the airport, the wind shears shook the plane even harder, causing one of the outer doors to shake and eventually burst open. Several seats were sucked out of the plane after this happened. The captain was sending a Mayday to the tower, hoping someone would hear him.

The plane was losing more seats and a couple of inmates were sucked from the plane as it was going down. The pilots landed just as they were approaching the airport. The only remaining inmate was someone named Gilbert Morris. Jimmys seat had been pulled from the plane while it was still descending.

The San Francisco fire and rescue, police department, and FBI were notified of the Conair plane crash. The plane landed just outside the San Francisco International airport, in the water. Casualties were being reported and inmates were reported missing.
