Chapter 2

Sophie's POV

It was finally Friday morning! I did my normal routine clothes then makeup then bag! Today I had actually managed to get up in time for breakfast but I didn't feel like eating this morning! I didn't know what was wrong but something didn't seem right and It put my off my breakfast!

Once I was ready I had 5 minutes until I had to leave! I didn't want to be to early and have to stand in the cold so I sat on my bed got my laptop and opened Twitter! I scrolled through my timeline checking if anything good was happening but I was early morning and everyone was just talking about how they were glad it was Friday! Boring! I don't see what's so good about Friday! Yes it the end of the week but surely your even more tired from a full week of school! As you can tell Friday isn't my favourite day of the week but none of them really are!
I checked Twitter once more before logging out and closing my laptop!

I put my black ankle boots on and ran down the stairs! I wasn't going to be late but I still felt the need to run down the stairs! I grabbed my coat and scarf, picked up my bag and said goodbye to mum! I picked my headphones up off the stairs and closed the front door behind me!
I put my headphones in and pressed shuffle on my phone. Hall of fame came on and yes it wasn't the typical type of song that I'd listen to but it was one of my favourite songs!
I carried on walking until I got to hollies house! She was almost ready when I got there she just had to go and get her history book!

The drive to school wasn't long but because of traffic it felt a lot longer! We usually had Greenday playing in the car but today we had blink -182! It was a nice change at it really lightened my mood!
We got to school and I quickly checked my planner to see what I had! First I had geography and second I had maths! Not the best lessons but I guess they could have been worse!
We walked into school and after a goodbye hug we went off to our lessons! I was only on 2nd floor so it wasn't to bad!

Once I had got to geography I realised everyone had gone in! Oh jheezz this was horrible! That means I have to walk in all by myself and then everyone will turn and stare at me! What if they laugh? What if my hairs a mess? Maybe I was over thinking! I plucked up enough courage and finally walked into the room and it wasn't as bad as I'd thought!
After saying hello to Olivia I took my seat and got out my book! For some reason I had a feeling that this lesson was just going to drag on! Geography wasn't my strongest subject and it certainly wasn't my favourite! Partly because I didn't understand half the work and partly because I had the worst teacher who didn't really give me any help! She just sat on her computer typing away and only really helping people if they went up to her! I definitely wasn't doing that!

I'd been in the lesson for what felt like 5 hours when the bell finally rang! It wasn't to far to maths only across the bridge but I still waited for Olivia so I wasn't walking alone! We were just over half way across the bridge when I felt a tap on the shoulder! It was calum!
"May I walk to maths with you?" Calum always spoke in a polite way and today hadnt changed!
We got to our maths room and me and calum went into one room and Olivia another! I sat next to calum in maths so maths was the best lesson of my day!
Once we were sat down with our books out we wrote the date and title! Calum stood up and gave the text books out like he always did! He liked giving the books out but he never said why! Maybe it was just because he liked being helpful!
We started copying the work out of the book page 178 about geometry! How boring! About half way through the lesson me and calum had been working together and had got through both pages pretty quickly! We asked sir what we should do and he said just sit and chat for a bit and wait for the others to catch up! So that's what we did!
At first it was a bit awkward because neither of us really knew what to say! After a while we did start talking though!
"Why don't you come over tonight and my mum can cook us dinner? She cooks amazing spaghetti bolognaise!" Calum suggest before looking very pleading hoping I was going to say yes!
"U-um okay then why not! The spaghetti better be good though!" I wasn't to sure wether he did have a crush on me to or if he was just being a nice friend!
We carried on talking about our favourite things and I didn't realise we had been talking for so long but the bell went! Maths lessons always went quickly because I guess I kinda enjoyed them!
The rest of the day was okay! I didn't mind science and english and Spanish were okay! I wouldn't say the day went quickly but it definitely didn't go slowly either!

i walked out of the school building and into the courtyard where i usually meet hollie and olivia. hollie was already there but we had to wait a while for olivia. hollie seemed more happy than ever today.

"ASHTON AND I ARE DATING!" hollie squealed in my ear so just about everone turned around and stared!

"OMG thats amazing! so thats why your so happy!" i replied.

i genuinley was happy for her she had loved ashton since about year 8 and now she was finalkly dating him.

olivia turned up a few moments later looking shattered. she said she didnt feel well so we decided to get a lift home.

the car journey home was silent. but it wasnt an awkward silent it was a nice silence. none of us spoke apart from hollie sing along to blink-182 every so often. first we dropped olivia off then hollie dropped me off. i jumped out the car waved goodbye and started to walk up y hill.

i got to my house, got out my key and opened my door. once again i was home alone. my mum worked all day and my day usually worked away in some other part of the country. i was suprised that my brother wasnt home yet but he was probably with his friends.

i text calum checking that i was definitly going to his at 5 and he replied with a short and sweet yes. that gave me about 1 hour untill i had to leave. this was the first time id been to calums house so i wanted to make a good impression. i jumped in the shower and by the time i had got out and dried my hair i only had 25 minutes left. i put on my black ripped skinny jeans and my black nirvana shirt. i threw on my red flannel and my black ankle boots. i walked downstairs wrote a note telling my mum id be home later and i walked out the door and locked it behind me.

it didnt take long to get to calums only about 15 minutes. i got to his house about 5 minutes early but i decided to knock anyway. a very pretty girl opened the door and from how calum had talk about her in maths i think i was his sister. she let me in and told me calum was in his room: up the stairs and the first door on the left. i took my shoes off and left them by the door.

i got to calums room and knocked before i opened his door.

"COME IN" he shouted

i put my hand on the door handle, took a deep breath and finally twisted it to open it.

his room was a cream colour with band posters on the walls. he had his music on and i think it was the offspring but it was quite loud and i couldnt really understand the words. i took off my coat and sat down on his bed with him.

So OTRAT started yesterday and boy have i been waiting for these vines! it feels like last week that we were watching the first WWAT concert in 8 second vines. AHHHHHHH these pics and vines of the OTRAT concert are killing me.
