YOUR FIRST DATE

Mal 
You bring Mal to the enchanted lake, for a picnic, and after you eat, you teach her how to swim

"Mal, Mal, stop splashing!" She looks at you as you splash back, laughing.

"How am I supposed to learn when you keep splashing? I have to defend myself!" She protests, and sends a little splash towards you again.
"Okay, okay, I surrender! Now, the first thing you need to learn is to float." She bites her lip, and something in your stomach flutters.

"How?"

"Well, just lay down on the top of the water, I'll support you." She lets herself go, and her knees float to the top of the water. She closes her eyes, and you swim towards her. You stay still, and so does she for a minute before she blinks her eyes open. She smiles widely and tackles you with a splash.

"I did it!" She says joyfully.

"Yeah, yeah you did it!" You say with a smile as wide as hers.

Evie 
You bring Evie to the biggest mall in Auradon, which happens to be just a half hour from Auradon prep

"This is it." You say as you open the doors. Evie squeals and bounces a little.
"This is... beautiful. I knew Auradon was wonderful, but I never could have imagined this." She says melodically in awe, and you watch her with just as much awe.

"Come on, (y/n), let's go!" She takes your hand and purposefully struts to the nearest storefront. She looks back at you with a small smile and whispers.

"Thank you so much."

Jay 
He asked you to come see him practice tourney, and afterwards you went out for ice cream

You wrinkle your nose, but secretly enjoy his sweat smell. It's sort of tangy, sweet, and cinnamony.

"You smell gross." He laughs and takes spoonful of his ice cream, his face puckering at the cold. You giggle a little at that, and take a spoonful of your own.

"So how is 'ice cream'? Does it live up to your expectations?" He nods enthusiastically, and licks his lips.

"I'm sorry you had to sit through the whole practice, I guess.... I didn't know how to ask you- on a date? Because we don't really date on the Isle, it's more like-" He leans back in his chair

"Gang activity." He finishes, and you let out a little laugh, worried about him and what he might have seen there.

"It's okay, I'll help you learn." You reach out across the table and take his hand. He runs it over you knuckles, and you smile at the small show of affection.

Carlos 
He researched places to go on a date near Auradon Prep, and found a beautiful cafe with good wifi, of course. He takes you there and you talk for hours

"So what's the Isle like?" His eyes widen and then he fidgets with his cup.

"I- It's not- it's really bad there, (y/n)." He shudders and states again, "it's really bad."
