" no, trevor! you can't go back doing that stuff!" y/n said, tears falling down her cheeks.

" y/n those people need me! i have to go back." trevor's voice was clear towards the halls of the mansion.

" you're gonna risk your life for that shit out there?! how about me? how about us?!" y/n said, holding her tummy containing her unborn child.

their unborn child.

" y/n please. stop it! you're being selfish!" trevor said angrily.

"so i'm selfish? what happened to you the last time you fought it, huh? you almost fell in a big hole! do you really wanna die?" y/n said, massaging her throbbing temples.

" i'm doing this for the last time, y/n. you can't stop me." trevor said, slamming the door shut, leaving y/n in the cold.

it has been a year since trevor left the mansion to travel back to his hometown to stop the ghosts once and for all.

y/n gave birth to a handsome cute boy.

she named him alex.

y/n hasn't heard of trevor for a long time, until she watched television on a fateful sunday evening.

"breaking news: the new generation of the world-famous ghostbusters has saved the city. apparently, the ghosts set back from 1987 has returned and they had stopped them effortlessly. here we have trevor, a member to speak with us. hello, trevor!" the reporter said enthusiastically.

" hi!" trevor said and gave a small wave.

a tear rolled down y/n's cheek as her son started to cry.

" no no shhhh mommy's here mommy's here" y/n said, placing the small fragile child on his crib with his toys.

"so, how does it feel like to save the city?" the reporter asked trevor.

" it feels good, though it may be tough.." trevor's voice trailed off.

" anyways, what will you do after this said chaos?" the reporter said.

trevor smiled.

" i'm going back to my family." he said, and the screen went static.

y/n shut off the tv, crying.

she checked her son, alex, to see that he was fast asleep.

she decided to sleep her feelings away.

1:23 am

y/n woke up with the sound of keys jingling downstairs.

she tried to sleep again but her mind was w i d e  a w a k e.

suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped her waist and kissed her neck.

it was trevor.

" you awake?" he said softly.

y/n stayed silent, a tear rolling down her cheek again.

" i had to give birth without you. my birthday without you. christmas without you." y/n mumbled, trying to stifle her cries.

"i'm so so sorry, baby, i'll make it up to you..." trevor said, pulling her to his embrace.

y/n missed it so much.

so did he.
