" what's the matter with you?!" y/n said, annoyed.

"what's wrong? you act like you're part of the party even if you're not!" mike angrily answered, walking away from y/n.

"well i know all about the upside down."

"just because you know about that doesn't mean you're part of us! i'm paladin, will's our cleric, dustin is our bard, lucas is the ranger, el's our mage, and max's our zoomer." mike argued, balling his fists.

"then- then i'll be the assistant!"

"why are you so goddamn desperate to join our party? don't you have friends?!"

"you're my friends!"

"no, you're just someone who knows all about the upside down."

"why do you hate me so much?"

"cause you're too clingy with the group. can't you back off, jeez."

"you're a dick, wheeler. fine. i'll be out and i'm never gonna talk to you ever. fuck you." y/n angrily said, tears brimming in her eyes.

there was silence.

mike just looked at her with furious and sad eyes.

y/n angrily walked out of the gym, her nails digging deep into her palms, it bled.

days passed, y/n avoided the party, wheeler the most.

"hey y/n, what's wrong?" dustin said as he sat down beside y/n in science class.

"nothing.." y/n said as she moved her chair away from dustin.

"y/n you really have to tell us what wheeler told you." lucas worriedly said as he walked with y/n to history class.

"he didn't say anything."

as i walked home alone after school, i heard a rustle by the bushes.

"probably some squirrels." i said to myself as i kept walking.

the rustle grew louder.

ugh, shut up squirrel.

after two minutes of the rustling, i decided to look at the bush to scare the squirrel.

but it wasn't a squirrel.

the sight of blood trails made me drop my books in shock.

"what the fuck-" i mumbled as i followed the blood trail.

the trail was 50 meters long, as it lead me to the infamous hawkins lab.

shivering, i continued to follow the blood trail until it stopped at a certain room.

caution!
do not enter
privacy of hawkins lab inc.

stupidly, i wasn't a listener.
i entered the room quietly to see scientists distracted by something.

i looked to see the gate to the upside down, opened.

how'd they open this shit?

"hey, what are you doing here?!" i turned suddenly to see a tall man, supposedly a guard.

fuck.

i ran like lighting to avoid the guard, slipping back to the secret entrance i used and ran back home.

i needed to write everything down.

the party needs to know this.

"where the fuck are they?!" y/n mumbled as she tried to find anyone from the party.

clutching the papers in one hand, she asked people if they had seen either the party.

"hey troy have you seen lucas? or dustin." y/n asked troy.

"why would i know where the freaks are?" he said rudely and shoved y/n to the side.

"pussy!" y/n retorted back with a blast.

until her eye caught a familiar figure.

"mike!!" y/n ran to mike but he didn't turn around.

that was when y/n realized that she was in the middle of the road.

"y/n WATCH OUT!" mike suddenly turns around, running to y/n and pulling her to the side before a school bus hit her.

"what the fuck, y/n. do you want to die or something?!" mike said angrily with worry in his eyes.

y/n, still trembling in trauma and shock, shakily handed mike the papers she held.

"thank you for saving me." she said.

mike grabbed the papers, scanning them.

"what? the gate's open?"
