Who's the Father?

She's Having a...What?!

For the past few days, you have been nothing but sick. Your everyday alarm clock was now an extra strong urge to vomit in the toilet. At first, you thought it was all because you still haven 't gotten over your last four breakups in the span of just a couple of months, but then a dreadful thought came to your mind right after you had one of your morning rituals of spilling out what your gut couldn't handle. You realized that you had been so busy with everyone and everything,  you couldn't remember when you had your last monthly cycle. You lifted your head from the bowl as you spaced out with fear shadowing your eyes.

"Oh no," you thought as your fingers trembled. "Am I..." 

With that, you dashed to the nearest Walgreens and came back home with a pregnancy test. Sure enough, You found two pink lines staring right back at you once you finished and your worst fear came true.

You were indeed pregnant. A wave of all different emotions flooded you. You were thrilled. You have always wanted to be a mother, but you have always wanted your child to grow up with a father. And the fact that you have had relations with four different men could only mean that only one could be the father and you had no idea who it could be. Also the fact that all of your exes were now gone meant that your child would not grow up with a dad made your already broken heart for them shatter even more. You sat in the corner of the room, hugging your ever so tiny bump as tears of many emotions filled your face. "Don't worry little one," you said with a painful smile. "We'll get through this together, even if it's just the two of us."

You sighed as you got up while wiping away your tears and trudged to the door, not looking forward to meeting another relationship you know that would turn out badly.
