Who's the Father?

Your First Ultrasound

At last, peace was now restored in the house hold between you and your four exes. Everyone stayed at the house and did chores while you went out to work.

Thankfully, you never found your house in almost ruins again and the four men were really getting along with each other almost as if they were best friends. You liked the idea of all of your past boyfriends in the house helping out. It was almost like having four I husbands living with you and keeping you company and the best part was that they all were now enjoying the new living adjustments together.

Four months had now gone by and your belly grows larger and larger each day, setting off the countdown for when it is finally time. You sat on the couch with your feet propped up on the coffee table. Your four exes sat beside you, all with each one of their hands placed protectively over your swollen stomach and all enjoying this blissful moment.

"It shouldn't be long before we are able to find out the sex of the child," Sebastian remarked. "Ah yes," Levi said with a small smile. "When is your next appointment, Y/n? That is when we should know."
"Tomorrow morning, actually," you said happily. "And yes, we should all know by then."
"Do you think we can all come," Hisoka asked.

You thought for a split second. It would be awkward explaining to the doctor that there are four possibilities on who the father might be, but you thought against it.  You wanted them to have their first ultrasound together with you and you thought it might be fun and interesting.

"Sure," you agreed. "That would be nice."
"What do you think," Illumi asked with a faint smile. "A boy or a girl?" You sighed happily to yourself as you placed both hands on top of your past boyfriends'.
"I don't care as long as the baby's healthy. That's all that matters to me."

The next morning~

"Good morning, Miss Y/n," the doctor announced as she came into the room with the sonogram sitting next to you. "I'm doctor Lindbloom, and I'll be your-"

She was caught off guard when she realized that there was not one, but four men standing readily next to you all with smiling faces. Her face dropped for a second as if she had seen a ghost as you gave her an awkward smile. "And which one of you four is the father," she asked while looking down at her clipboard to conceal her shocked expression. You knew this would happen.

"We all are," they said in unison as if they had been practicing it. You facepalmed in embarrassment. 'This was a mistake,' you thought.

But you looked up again when you heard her voice change into what sounded like almost amusement in a good way.

"Well," she said with a smile.  "I've seen quite a few women with two possible fathers, but I must say, you certainly are my first with four. I am impressed."
"It's a long story," you replied.

"Anyways, as I was saying, " she continued. "I am doctor Lindbloom, and I will be your doctor up until after birth," she said donning on her gloves. "Now lie back for me."

Your four exes helped you lie down. Sebastian and Levi held your hand and Illumi and Hisoka gently squeezed your shoulder as the doctor lifted your shirt and squeezed the cold, blue liquid on your belly.

"Alright," she said running the sonogram over your stomach. "Here is your beautiful baby." Just then, you heard a loud drumming sound in the room, your child's heartbeat. You and your four exes fell silent in awe as you just listened to the beautiful sound.

"There it is," doctor Lindbloom said as she tilted the screen for you all to see. You all stared at the screen in amazement, all feeling numb with pure happiness.

"It's so small.." Hisoka said as he gently squeezed your shoulder. Levi looked like he was on the verge of tears of joy as he continued to gaze at the unborn child on the screen. Sebastian stood proudly with soft eyes as he squeezed your hand. "Well done," he whispered to you with pure pride in his voice. Illumi blinked in disbelief with his mouth slightly ajar.

"All looks great," doctor Lindbloom said, breaking the silence. "Your child is as healthy as ever. Would you like to know the baby's gender?" You all nodded eagerly.

"Congratulations," she said as she took off her gloves and glasses. "You all have yourselves a beautiful baby..."
