Levi's POV*
I sat in Erwin's office while he spoke to me. My tail swished slowly behind as I took in what he said.
"Levi, you can't be with Eren. He's just too much of a loose cannon, and I don't want to see you wrecked."
I gave him an incredulous look. "So, now my best friend thinks I can't handle my own life." I gave him a thumbs up and a dirty look.
"No, Levi, I just believe that Eren already has too much going on. I can't allow you two together. Besides, you're in the military, you could easily die. If one of you lost the other, we'd lose our best soldiers."
"I'm not going to lose him." My voice sounded like steel, cold and metal.
"You can't be sure." He looked at me sadly, like I was some wounded animal.
"I sure as hell can!"
He gave me a look that gave the feeling of enervation. "Well, there's only one way I can stop you. I can move him from your squad. Do you want that instead? I'm sure you'd rather be able to at least see him than not at all."
"Erwin, why are you doing this?" My voice disgusted myself, it was weak and sad.
Erwin sighed. "It really is for your own good."
"Not how I see it," I scoffed. I stood up and walked out, aware that my eyes were flashing.
As I walked the hallways, no destination but just to leave, my eyes grew blurry. I wiped them angrily, to find tears.
What the hell? To think a teenager could make me, humanity's strongest, cry like a child.I walked out of the castle, walking around to nowhere in particular. I took deep breaths, calming myself. The sky was a dark grey, resemblant to my mind right now.
I felt a hand on my shoulder, it was Eren's.
"What did he say?" He looked worried.
"That I can't be with you or he'll move you from my squad." He looked crestfallen. It hurt to see him like that, it made me angry at Erwin.
I put my hands on his shoulders.
"I never said I was going to listen." He looked at me with a bittersweet expression.
I have no idea who initiated the kiss, it just happened.
"Adorable..." I heard Hanji in the background.
I pulled away to scowl at her. "Every time we kiss, do you have to interrupt? God." She laughed.
"You could just ignore me, kitty." I felt my eyes flash. She held her hands up. "Although, you might want to go inside, it looks like it's going to storm soon."
Speak of the devil, a raindrop landed right in my eye. I hissed, bringing my hands up to it, while Eren and Hanji cackled and ran inside with me.
When we finally shut the door inside, Hanji turned to us and smiled. "You trust me to hide your secret relationship. Nothing is getting in between my adorable couple." Eren smiled and I rolled my eyes.
"Thanks, Major-"
"None of that major shit. Call me Hanji. Or Titan Mama, on that note." Eren looked at her weird. Then grabbed my hand.
I'm not going to admit it made me feel giddy as fuck.
