Back In Time

Barry's POV

100,000 Years After The Incident

"Caitlin!" I yell out.

She hears me and comes running up to me.

"Barry, I love you." She says.

I see someone vibrating behind her-

It's me.

"You're not going to hurt her!" I tell him.

"I already have." He replies, leaving me confused.

I turn around and Caitlin falls to the floor.

"No!" I collapse next to her, seeing blood from her chest.

I look at my hands that are now filled with blood.

"It is my fault. It's all my fault." I cry out.

Cisco's POV

8 Months After The Time Wraith Attack

"I'm bringing him in!" Wally yells through the comms.

"Yes!" I cheer. "Good work Wally."

He runs the new meta into a cell and comes into the cortex.

"You know, I still need a name." He tells me.

"Let me think." I say, smiling.

"Well, maybe I could continue The Flash's legacy? Maybe I could be The Flash?" Excuse me?

"No." I tell him. "Absolutely not!"

"Ok, jeez!" He says.

He just has to make me think about him.

You wanna know what happened? Caitlin went away, again.

Kara still helps, she is just dealing with personal business.

I have no idea where-

A speedster runs in the building, throwing me out of my thoughts.

"Hello, Team Flash." He says.

Zoom.

"Zoom." I say.

"So, how is Barry? Oh sorry, nevermind." He laughs.

I shoot a blast at him but he dodges it.

"You really think you can hit me with your vibe blast? No one can beat me, Vibe. I am the fastest man alive." He yells at me.

Then, I heard his voice.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that!"

Barry.

"Flash! How are you-"

"Enough talking, Hunter." Barry replies. "Catch me if you can."

They run off, I keep track of them by the desk.

"I'll go help him." Wally says and I nod.

I keep track and realise Barry is a lot faster.

"Mach five." I say out loud, astonished.

I need answers as soon as Zoom is dealt with.

I see Zoom slow down and Barry still running ahead.

Barry's POV

I run up the building in front of me and back down, making the glass shatter.

I run into Zoom, knocking him down. As I do, I place the meta cuffs I got from the workshop, on his wrists.

"Got ya again." I say, smug.

He growls at me as I smile at his face.

I run him back into a cell and run back to the cortex.

After a few moments, Wally runs in as well.

Cisco stands up while he looks at me. He runs at me and embraces me in a hug.

"You promised we wouldn't lose you again." He cries into my shoulder.

"And you didn't. I will always find my way back to everyone." I tell him.

"Barry is The Flash." Wally says.

He doesn't know?

"Uh, you didn't know?" I ask him, confused.

"No, Cisco never told me. I just thought you went to Starling City!" He exclaims.

"Oh, well now you know." I say.

"I'll call everyone." Cisco says, running off.

20 Minutes Later

Now I know everything.

About Iris, Wally, Joe, Jesse, Wells, and Caitlin.

"I hope this is important Cisco because I-"

It's Caitlin.

She sees me and opens her eyes wider.

"Barry!" She gasps.

We both smile as we open into a hug.

"It's me Cait, it's me." I tell her.

"I thought I lost you." She says as if we are the only people in the room.

"I'll always come back to you." I reply.

I don't care what will happen in the future, I only care about right here, right now. Me and Caitlin, reunited with one another. Team Flash, back at it again.

I feel an overwhelming amount of wind brushing against my cheeks as I look up from Caitlin's shoulder and pull away.

"Kara!" I greet her, so happy.

"Barry!" She flies over to me, pulling me into the tightest hug.

"Oh, ow. Kara, strength!" I tell her, gasping for air.

"Oh my Rao, I am so sorry!" She goes on which makes me laugh.

"Kara, calm down, it's ok." I assure her, smiling.

She smacks me on the shoulder and begins.

"Don't do that to us ever again, Bartholomew Henry Allen!" She tells me as I rub my shoulder.

"Don't wor-"

Out of nowhere, another speedster comes running in, leaving paper flying everywhere.

"Jesse, Wells?" I notice them when they run in.

"Allen, you said you weren't going to change the timeline. How many times have I told you?" He snaps at me, stepping forward.

"I'm sorry! Ok? This is all my fault. I created Flashpoint, I killed Cisco's brother, I made everyone hate me!" I reply, furious. "Let me make it right."

"You, make it right? When have you done something right, related to time travel?" He asks me, shooting back.

"Alright dad, he gets it." Jesse says to Wells, calming him down.

"I know, but he still makes the same mistakes." He replies, walking out, causing me to sigh loudly.
