LUCIANA'S POV

As usual, I went to UST early to catch a glimpse of him in Lovers' Lane but he was nowhere to be found and I got hungry so Jele and I decided to grabbed foods at Jollibee.

"I'm hungry," I dramatically said to Jele. Tiningnan niya ako na parang tinatakwil niya ako at hinampas. "Ouch!"

"Arte mo. Huwag ka ngang maingay. Kay aga aga," reklamo niya.

We had to wait in line since ang daming thomasians sa loob ng Jollibee. I spent my time staring at the menu na gumagalaw galaw until I got bored. Tumingon ako sa likod ko at nagulat sa nakita ko.

Oh my god! The accountant guy!

Gosh, he was so dreamy. He was even more handsome up close. Was he even real?

"Jele, tingin ka sa likod pero huwag mong papahalata na sinabi ko," I whispered. Sinunod niya ako pero wala man lang siyang reaksyon.

"Ano meron?"

"Gaga, 'yung sinasabi ko sa 'yong guy na nakita ko sa Lovers' Lane," bulong ko.

"Yung nasa likod natin? Paarang familiar," bulong din niya. I nodded and nudged her shoulder.

I really want to know his name, I swear to God. If only Brent had not blocked me, I would be stalking him by now, but that moron was so stubborn. He was not cooperating! He was useless.

Should I ask him? Should I talk to him? What if he ignores me? But he does not look like the type to ignore someone though.

"Should I talk to him?" I asked Jele.

"Gaga ka ba? Walanghiya ka talaga,"

"But jele! What if I would not see him again after this? I can't let that happen! I will die,"

Jele hit my shoulder and pinched my arm. "Alam mo? Saan ka ba pinaglihi? Kapal ng mukha mo, e. Pahingi naman."

"Why don't you help me na lang kasi?" I exclaimed.

"Sige, kausapin mo," she said.

"Okay!"

I prayed internally.

Lord, please, just this once. Let me have him!

"Hi!" I greeted him brightly.

He was looking at his phone but stopped when he heard my voice. He turned off his phone and furrowed his eyebrows. Was he irritated?
