LUCIANA'S POV

"Come on, Lu. Smile ka naman!" said Reese who kept on forcing me to smile when I was not really in the mood to fake it.

"Make it stop, Reese," I said, annoyed with her actions.

"Ugh, fine. I'll stay with you so Matthew won't be able to go near you," and she winked at me.

"Where are you na? We are here outside UST," I heard Reese talking to Jele on the phone.

Because that bitch who told us to go here was also the one who left us here. Since her boyfriend was inside na, iniwan niya na kami dito. Porket may jowa. Mag b-break din sila sa 23!

"Reese lods!" I immediately turned my head to my right when I heard Brent's voice calling Reese. My eyes instantly scanned the boys who were approaching us. I heaved a sigh of relief when I did not see Matthew with them.

My eyes unconsciously switch to Jupiter giving Reese a peck on her cheeks. Reese clung her arms kay Jupiter.

Gosh! Why did I have to see that? It was so gross! And sabi niya, hindi niya ako iiwan? What now?

And it also made me feel even more single.

See? This was the reason why I did not want to attend this year's Paskuhan. It was full of couples na naglalandian lang. And mamaya, kapag nagpatugtog yung The Juans, madaming magf-feeling broken.

And I was not one of them. I swear.

"Wala ba kayong balak pumasok?" tanong ni Jele sa kanila.

"Let's leave them. Ang daming arte," I said.

While I was walking, Brent stood beside me and walked with me. "Meron ka ba?"

I raised my eyebrow at him. "What?"

"Sungit mo, e. Uso ngumiti," I rolled my eyes at him. Hindi ko na siya ulit sinagot dahil mas lalo lang akong maiinis.

I walked fast so I can keep up with my friends. Tigilan na rin ako ni Brent eventually.

"Ang ganda kahit 'di ako potter head," said Jele. Her right arm was wrapped around Reese's arm. They were both busy admiring the lights that were installed around the trees. I was not able to enjoy the decorations that much because I felt lethargic.

"Mas bet ko 'yung last year. Tangled theme! Grabe, sobrang ganda. Sayang, 'di kayo nakapunta," Jele shared. 

"Yeah, I remember you sending me tons of pictures! You were fangirling!" Reese said.

"Syempre. Favorite Disney princess ko si Rapunzel. Haba ng hair, e,"

And they started to talk about everything. I was too absorbed with my thoughts so I was not able to join them.
