LUCIANA'S POV

Day 29 of 30.

There were two days left before this contract ended. I became even more worried as the days went by as to what would happen within the days. I was thinking about Matthew's decision on this deal, also.

For the past few days, I have been puzzled about his behaviour. He's extra nice sometimes, and he's a little distant occasionally. I still couldn't say whether or not he felt anything for me. Or maybe he was just playing with me?  I hope he wasn't.

As he was walking in front of me, I stared at his back. I've been trying to wash away all the unwanted thoughts because I know they're going to prevent me from enjoying this moment. But, I just couldn't help it.

I sensed that he stopped walking and looked behind. Our eyes instantly met and I smiled at him. "May problema ba?" he asked me.

"Nothing," I said and stand beside him so we could walk together.

"Arcade tayo?" he suddenly asked.

I smiled then nodded afterward. We were in Uptown Mall. We decided to have a date in a mall nalang. We had been here for 1 hour and a half na. Just strolling around, talking about various things, taking pictures, and greeting those friends na nakakasalubong namin.

We headed sa Quantum Amusement and surprisingly, there weren't a lot of people.

"Wait. Bili lang ako ng tokens," paalam ni Matthew. After he left, I headed straight to the claw machine kasi may nakita akong stuffed toys na cat. I had always been fond of cats. Actually, I own four cats and I was planning to adopt a new one. Matthew still has not seen my pets since they are living with my mom sa house namin sa Quezon City.

I kept walking around the arcade until I saw someone familiar playing the Dance Rush. I walked towards her and pinched her side waist.

"Ouch! What the fuーOh, Lu! Bwisit ka!" I laughed when I saw Juliana's reaction. Titus stopped dancing and looked in our direction.

"Hello, Lu! Sino kasama mo?" He asked.

"Si Matt,"

"Si Matt? Nasaan?"

"Nandito ako," The three of us turned our heads when we heard Matthew's voice. He walked towards my side. He gave me the tokens and rested his arms on my shoulder.

"Si Jups at Reese nalang hindi namin nakakasalubong," said Matthew. Natawa sila parehas ni Titus sa sinabi niya.

"What's with Jupiter nga pala? Remember nung UAAP championship? Does he have a girlfriend?" Juliana asked.

"Ah, ewan ko d'on. Magulo rin 'yung isa na 'yon, e," Titus replied.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Juliana at nagkibit balikat nalang. I was sure na they did not want to tell us about it. Of course, Jupiter was still their friend. I completely understand that. That was why I did not mention anything to Matthew regarding that.
