Chapter 2- Friendly Game of Bedwars

This took longer than expected to write because it was homecoming week at my school but I wanted to ask: Do you want me to write quicker and less detailed so I can catch up to the current events of the SMP or slower and hella time skips? I don't know, let me know what you want.

Y/N opens his eyes to the warm sun shining on his face. This is new, he thought. He would usually sleep through the morning and wake up after 12. But, evidently the stars aligned and decided today was the day he needed to get up early. Might as well make the most of it.

Getting up and grabbing his phone, he reads the time as 10 AM. Extremely early, according to the h/c male. He notices a few notifications, mostly Twitter and YouTube. Nothing for him sadly, just post notifications for his favourite content creators. Y/N's eyes land on a Discord notification, the only one. He opens it and is greeted with his and Karl's conversation from yesterday with three new messages below that.

Karl: Hey, you wanna play bedwars? 8:34
Karl: Oh whoops you're probably sleeping 8:53
Karl: Okok whenever you wake up 9:04

Y/N chucked at the messages before swiftly typing a response.

Y/N: Yeah sure, I'm gonna eat first then I'll get on Hypixel 10:21

Turning the cellular device off, he quickly does his morning routine and goes to the kitchen -literally 10 feet away- and fixes himself up some cereal. The most beautiful food ever created. Taking the bowl over to his desk, he turns on the monitor and computer and logs in. His wallpaper is the one of the only fanarts made for him, by a fan he is now mutuals with on Instagram and Twitter. Cool lad. Y/N opens the desktop version of Discord and clicks on Karl's name. Before he calls Karl he loads Minecraft up, and when it's done he hops on Hypixel. Y/N hears the familiar ping of the discord notification and sees Karl messaged him again.

Karl: I'm gonna call you, k? also I added u 10:34

Y/N: bet. 10:34

Taking a bite of cereal he opens the window for Minecraft and sees the friend request in chat. He accepts it and joins the call with Karl.

"Hi!" Karl sounds like he's smiling, "is it okay if I stream?"

"Oh, uh," Y/N stutters, him? In front of a live audience? Oh well, what's there to lose? He wasn't even known by anyone anyways. He realized if Karl was streaming, maybe he could make a video out of it. He booted up OBS and started recording. "Sure,"

"Cool, let me get it set up," Y/N hears some clicking and then hears Karl speak, "and it's almost ready."

Y/N chuckles, "maybe this will finally get me the clout I've been looking for."
"Maybe it will!" Karl laughs before saying, "And here we go! Hello! Hello everyone welcome to the stream with a special guest,"

Y/N quickly opened the stream which was titled Bedwars W/ Special Guest! His jaw dropped. 32k viewers? Although that seemed like nothing compared to the millions of views Mr. Beast's videos get, it was huge since Y/N was basically the star of the show. Not just a background character. In the spotlight. The main attraction.

"Hello everyone!" Karl was greeted the fans that joined the stream.

"H-Hello," Y/N said quietly, a little bit stunned and a little bit shy.

"Okay, how many people are here? 65k? That should be enough,"

"Enough for what?" Y/N said a little louder.

"Well, I want everyone here to go follow our special guest!" Y/N could see Karl's wide grin in the face cam, "His name is Y/N and his Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube are all Y/U! Please follow him, he deserves clout,"
