SooA's POV
"Soooooyaaah" Tiffany hugged me as soon as I opened the door. The girls came over for a sleepover !!
"You are acting as if you haven't seen me in years." I said, laughing and hugging her back.
Sooyoung and YoonA ran upstairs to my room.
"Girls, I just cleaned my room today. You guys better not make any mess." I shouted, running behind the duo. Tiffany followed me.
"Where is your mom ??" Tiff asked.
"She's got work. Won't be home till night time." I said, making them space for keeping their bags.
"So we are home alone ??" YoonA asked, excitedly. I nodded.
"Lets watch a movie then. Horror movie it is." Sooyoung said. The bravest among us ofcourse. As we are watching it in broad daylight, we all agreed.
"What are you looking at ??" I asked Tiffany, seeing her looking out the window.
"Is that Baekhyun's house ??" She asked, surprised at the short distance. I nodded.
"You guys live so close !!" She said and I couldn't help but agree.
Yea... we're close yet so apart.
"Let's go.!!" I said, taking the girls downstairs for the movie.
30 minutes later
"No kid. Don't enter the room. It's definitely gonna come at you." YoonA said, closing her eyes tightly.
"SwiTcH oN thE LigHtS KiD" Tiffany shouted at the poor boy who is inside the tv.
"Am I the only who finds these two scarier than the movie ??" Sooyoung asked me and I laughed, agreeing.
*Ding Dong*
"You said your mom won't be home till night." Sooyoung said.
"She won't be. I wonder who this is..." I said, getting up from my seat.
"No !! It might be the ghost from the movie. Sooyah please don't go." Tiffany said, almost ready to cry.
"I'll be fine. I'm sure it's a human being. Don't worry." I said, going to the main door.
I opened it to see somebody who I least expected.
"Baekhyun ??" YoonA asked, surprised to see the boy.
"What are you doing here ??" Tiffany asked, suspiciously.
"What are you all doing here ??" Baekhyun asked the girls.
"Sleepover." I replied.
"I came to give this to you." He said, looking at me.
"What's this ??" I asked, staring at a container.
"My mom made these. She asked me to give this to you." He said, coldly. I could feel the awkwardness in the air.
"Oh thankyou !!" I said and wanted to let him go quickly but my friends are just great.
"Come in. We are watching a horror movie. It'll be fun." Tiffany said.
"He might be busy—" He cut me off.
"Sounds good" He said and I was honestly surprised.
He sat next to me.
The movie continued and I felt him trying to avoid looking at the screen whenever the ghost popped up. Cute.
Guess the cold byun is afraid of horror movies.
"Are you scared ??" I asked him in a teasing tone and I realised whom I was talking to after the words left my mouth.
"Scared ?? Me ?? Pfft. My schedule is kinda packed so I'll be leaving now." He replied. This is the longest conversation we have ever had.
"Liar." Again, that came out accidentally.
"It's the t-truth !!" He stuttered out. I laughed at that. I thought my eyes were playing tricks but he smiled.
Wow, he knew how to smile ??
I think he realised what he was doing, so he immediately went back to being serious.
"I've to go now. My friends and I are gonna hangout." He said, clearing his throat to grab the other girls attention.
"Okay okay. Bye." Sooyoung said
"Bye Baekhyun." YoonA said
"Bye oppa" Tiffany said.
He looked at me, waiting for my response.
"Uh... bye" I said, giving him a small smile.
I went to the door with him.
He turned around and I said before he started his sentence.
"I'll give the container later." I said, guessing that's what he wanted to say. He stopped himself from talking and nodded before going back.
I turned around to see Tiff in front of me.
"Container ?? Seriously ?? Dude, he definitely came here to see you and he wanted to tell you something." She said, with an obvious look.
"Oh yeah. That will be spookier than the movie we're watching now." I said, hiding a smile.
No no no. I'm not smiling.
