4: Diary and Friends

SooA's POV

"He's your what ?!" Tiffany asked me through the phone.

"Yeah Tiff, neighbour. Byun Baekhyun is my neighbour." I said.

"You are... what should I say....? Okay, if it was some other EXO member, I would have used the term 'lucky'. But this is Baekhyun. So you're trapped I guess." She said and laughed at her own joke. Why on earth did I call her ??

"Oh shut up. I'm not gonna even meet him often. Its not like he's living in my house. Its next door. We won't meet each other." I said and Tiffany kinda agreed to that.

After that call, I opened my diary.

Don't get the wrong idea. I don't write in my diary anymore. I used to when I was 7...8....? I don't know. Anyways, I was below 10 years old when I wrote a diary.

It includes something very important inside. My past.

My first love, My friendship with Tiffany and most importantly, my worst nightmare. I was only 9 when that happened to me.

The reason for my depression.

You'll find all that later. I'm too lazy to explain the story right now. Another reason is, I'll cry if I tell you about it. I went to sleep instead of thinking about it.

"Eomma !! I'm going. Bye." I said and exited my house.

I walked slowly as I enjoyed the cool breeze that passed through me. I loved this weather so much.

It was all ruined when a motorbike stopped in front of me.

He took off the helmet. It was... Baekhyun.

"G-goodmorning." I said. That was lame.

"You usually walk to school ??" He asked me, coldness not leaving his voice once. I nodded.

"I love walking to school in this kind of weather." I said, looking at the clear sky.

He put the helmet back on.

"Okay then. Enjoy your walk." He said and left me dumbfounded.

You're mysterious Byun.

"Tell me everything. Did he tell you something ?? How is it like being his neighbour ?? Did he smile ?? Once ??" Tiffany bombarded me with silly questions.

"Leave the poor girl alone." Sooyoung said. Thankyou girl.

"Yeah. Let's just go to class." YoonA said and we went to class.

I sat in my place. I was talking to Tiff when I heard screams. Baekhyun is here.

He entered the class and walked to his seat, ignoring the crazy fangirls.

He didn't even look at me. Such an amazing person !! Note the sarcasm.

The teacher came in and I continued sleeping.

I wasn't in a mood to eat. So I went to the school garden to get some fresh air.

I was thinking about two people. My oppa and... Her

I was snapped out of my thoughts by a voice.

"What are you doing here alone ??" I turned around to find the owner of the voice. It was... Oh Sehun, the maknae of EXO.

Wait... Does he know me ?? I've heard from Tiff that he's a cutie. Her words, not mine.

"I just wanted some fresh air." I said, honestly.

"Same. Let's enjoy it together, shall we ??" He asked with a smile.

I just nodded. Never thought an EXO member would ever approach me. People don't really approach me.

"Why were you looking at Baekhyun hyung yesterday ??" He asked me. Not this again.

"He reminded me of myself." I said the truth. I don't know why, but I feel like I've known him for a long time. I feel like I can say anything to him.

"Are you a cold girl ?? I don't think so. Hyung's got a very different personality." He explained about his hyung.

"I was a cold girl 2 years ago." I said.

"Why is that ??" He asked me.

"I've gone through many things." I said, hiding the secret. I don't think I can tell anybody that secret.

"I see... Anyways, glad you've gotten over all that." He said and stood up with a smile. "Let's be friends ??" He asked me and I was surprised. He wants to be my f-friend ??

"Why do you suddenly wanna be my friend ??" I asked him, genuinely confused and curious. He looked at me with a cute smile.

"Why not ?? I find you... What's the word ?? Interesting." He said, shrugging his shoulders. I was surprised again. This guy is full of surprises.

"Fine. Friends." I said and we shook our hands, smiling to each other.

Yehet !! Sehun is finally here. This is officially the start of the love triangle.
