7: Dad

SooA's POV

"I'll take her home." Baekhyun said and I was shocked. Guess what ?? I'm not alone. EXO is also as shocked as I am.

"Say what now ??" Chanyeol asked, confused.

"Are you deaf ?? It's dark. Were you expecting her to go alone ??" He asked the boys.

"No. I was supposed to drop her off." Sehun said.

"Are you from this neighborhood ??" Baekhyun asked Sehun.

"No but--" Baekhyun cut him off.

"I live next to her. We're going to the same place anyways. I'll drop her off." Baekhyun said.

"Okay then. Goodnight guys. See you guys after the weekend." Suho said and we all nodded and said our goodbyes.

Sehun asked me to call him when I reach home. He's such a sweetheart. He cares for me alot. I smiled at the thought.

"Why are you smiling like an idiot ?? It's creepy." Baekhyun said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"It's nothing." He gave me an extra helmet and asked me to get on.

I tried my best not to hold onto him. But as the speed of the motorbike increased, I had no other choice but to hold onto him tightly. It was actually very comfortable, but our houses came into my view, ending the comfortable ride.

"Thanks." I thanked him as I got off the bike.

He just nodded and turned around to enter his house.

That's it ?? No goodnight or anything ??

I sighed and turned around to enter my house when he turned around and called me.

"Yah !!"

"Yeah ??"

"Why are you hanging around with a bunch of boys alone at night ?? Does your mom and dad know about this ??" He asked me in a serious tone.

At the mention of 'dad' my mind went blank. I hated it when someone mentioned his name.

"Goodnight." That's the only thing that came of out from my mouth as I made my way into my house, not giving the guy a glance.

He looked dumbfounded but immediately regained his composure and went inside.

SooA's POV

(Monday Morning)

I was walking to school as always. I was thinking about random stuff and my mind was completely blank at the moment.

"SooA yah !!" I heard a voice call me and I turned around to see Sehun.

"Oh, why are you here ?? From the information I have, your house is not anywhere close." I said, confused to see him in my neighbourhood.

"I thought I'll pick you up today." He replied with a small chuckle because of my words. I smiled at his thought anyways.

We walked for sometime, talking about EXO. He gave me more information about the guys. Finally, we arrived at our school.

"SooA~~!!" Tiffany ran to me as soon as she saw me. But when she reached near me she immediately froze, seeing the person next to me.

"Hello Tiffany !!" He said and she almost fainted.

"Be loyal to Kai." I reminded her and she nodded, immediately regaining herself.

"I'll see you all on recess." Sehun said and left us.

"Leggo." YoonA said, dragging me along.

"Yah !! Why did you come with him ?? Are you guys.... NO WAY BAE SOOA !!" She shouted, feeling excited.

"Shut up. You're loud and no. We're not dating. He's just a good friend who wanted to walk me to school." I explained to the trio, sitting in front of me with a 'gimme an explanation to this' face.

"A good friend ?? Who wanted to walk you ?? To school ?? Are you stupid ?? He likes you." Sooyoung said and I just shook my head, denying it completely.

"Don't jump into conclusions. He is just a friend. Now go sit in your places. The teacher will come in any second." I said and they immediately listened to me, scattering across the room to sit in their places. I chuckled at my dorks.

I went to my place as well. Suddenly, Baekhyun entered the room making the girls go wild as always. I just ignored it and lied down. But suddenly I was forced to look up as someone cleared the throat. It was.... Baekhyun.

What does he want ??

"Are you looking for something ??" I asked him, confused.

"Um... about yesterday....—" I cut him off. Thinking about what happened yesterday. I didn't wanna be reminded of what he said again. It's not about him scolding me but about the mention of my 'dad'

"Let's just forget about it and start new ??" I asked him, hoping he would be ready to move on.

"If you are not angry with me then my job is done. I am not interested in having any more friends." He said and put on his earphones.

He is really something else.
