SooA's POV
"I have all of your exam results with me. You may come one by one and collect it when I call your name." Our homeroom teacher,
Ms Park said.
She started calling the name and the students went to collect their results one by one.
"Jung Soojung"
"Choi Minho"
"Lee Taemin"
"Im YoonA"
"Byun Baekhyun"
Baekhyun went up to Ms Park and collected it. I looked at his face to check his reaction but he looked emotionless as usual.
"Bae SooA"
Okay that's me. Be cool Soo. I bet you did good. Oh who am I kidding.
I took the results from her hand and heard Ms Park say "Please stay back after class. I need to talk to you" I just nodded and went to my seat. I opened the piece of paper in front of me and it was exactly how I expected it to be. I failed yet again.
I saw Ms Park saying something to Baekhyun too. Bet he got a bad grade as well.
She continued giving away the results.
"All of your performance this time was not that satisfactory. I know you all have the potential to do better and I believe you all will. This was your first exam of this academic year. I'm sure you can improve in the coming exams. The top scorer of this examination was Byun Baekhyun" She said and everybody clapped.
I couldn't believe what I just heard. Baekhyun is the what now ?!
The bell rang and I couldn't go. I told my friends to leave first and I went to Ms Park.
"Oh SooA ssi, I called you to tell you that I'm not at all happy with your exam results. I think you can improve a lot if you try. I see potential in you SooA. That's why I am willing to give you another chance. How about a retest ?? I'll arrange you a tutor. At the end of the month, you are required to attend the retest and let's see how you have improved. Do you agree ??" She asked me with a smile. I nodded.
This is the first time that I'm hearing the words "I believe in you". It gave me a new kind of determination that I haven't had till now.
"Good. Then I'll let you know whom your tutor is tomorrow morning." She said and I nodded, returning the smile.
Next day Morning
"Your tutor is Byun Baekhyun." Ms Park said.
"Say what now ?! I mean... uh... okay ma'am" I said, shocked at her words.
Baekhyun really agreed to this ?? No way. Why would he...?
Flashback to yesterday evening
Baekhyun's POV
"Will you be her tutor ??" Ms Park asked me.
"Why should I ??" I asked, genuinely confused.
"You're the top scorer and I heard you and SooA are neighbours." She said and I nodded.
"I'll be her tutor."
