3: Neighbours

SooA's POV

It's Sunday today. No school. Yay !!

I am seriously bored. So I started drawing random things. Yes, I'm an okay artist.

Suddenly I heard some sounds from the house next door. Wait a minute, nobody lives there. I opened the curtains to see a man and a woman, who are probably husband and wife entering the house while carrying the luggage. Guess they are gonna move in.

Wait... They have a son ?? I saw a guy exiting the car. I saw his face as he turned around. I was shocked to see Byun Baekhyun there. Wait... He's going to be my new neighbour ??

Its better if I don't interact with the neighbours. Staying away is good. Yeah.

Hold that thought. Eomma suddenly entered the room and said the words I didn't wanna hear.

"Go give these rice cakes to our neighbours who just moved in next door."

"Why eomma ?? Why me ?? Ask Suzy Unnie to go." I said.

"She is busy. She's got work. She is not a free bird like you. Now go. NOW !!" She literally yelled the last word. I got scared and quickly took it from her hand.

"Okay eomma." I said and quickly ran out of the house.

Angry eomma is my worst nightmare. I don't know why. Its just too scary sometimes. Lets just say I'm very sensitive after that thing happened to me.

I slowly moved my feet towards the new house which is much bigger than ours.

I hesitated at first but slowly moved my hand towards the doorbell.

After a few seconds a lady, who is probably Mrs.Byun opened the door with the most prettiest smile I've ever seen.

"Hello. May I help you ??" She asked me politely. Wow. Can't believe that cold guy is her son.

"I live next door. Eomma made rice cakes for you as a welcoming gift." I said with a smile. She smiled and accepted it.

"Oh. Thankyou so much dear. Come in. I'll get you something to drink." She said

I was afraid you'll say that.

"No, thankyou. I've got to study." I said. Sorry for lying aunty. Can't face your son.

"Oh, what a lovely girl. I wish my son was like you." She said. Trust me, I am not such a lovely girl. I act really well. You're a nice person. Sorry for lying.

"Y-yeah. I'll be leaving now--" I was cut off by a voice.

"Eomma, who is at the door ??" Baekhyun asked his mother and suddenly froze when he saw me. He immediately regained his cool though.

"What are you doing here ??" He asked, coldly.

"She's our neighbour. Do you guys know each other ??" His eomma asked us. I nodded.

"He's my classmate. I'll be leaving now." I said quickly. Staying here is suffocating. He's very cold. How is he friends with EXO ?? Aren't they scared of him ??

"Okay dear. Please visit often." She said. I nodded and gave her a fake smile. Don't worry, I won't.

Never thought I would be wrong.

They'll get closer this way I guess. Or not.... Baek is too cold. XD
