I would like to conclude by saying that although I know that the story of each one of these characters deserves to be told in ten thousand words or more, I made it my intention to limit this book to ten thousand words and talk a little about the history of each of these people , the biggest difficulty was to summarize without taking away or diminishing the seriousness of everything that happened, because these are situations of violence I tried to reduce the amount of details, so that the book can be read without causing so much damage to the reader, but trying to maintain depth , enough to cause empathy, and make readers feel connected to each of the characters, and can put themselves in their place.
After all, the purpose of the book is this, to break the silence by giving voice to those who suffer, and to awaken the readers' awareness, to show that this is a reality that happens in all the states of our country, in all social classes, maybe you know someone who is suffering some kind of abuse right now, can be a schoolmate, a student, a friend, a maid, a cousin or even their own daughter (o) .
And you just need to stop ignoring the signals and listen to the voice of silence to save them, changes in behavior, social isolation, marks on the body, fear and unexpected reactions to the touch, all are signs that something wrong is happening, even keeping the body in silence unconsciously screams for help, you just need to know how to hear the silence of people.
