"I'm so glad we got away from that crowd and all those people. So intense." Alec remarked after taking off of his jacket, Sophia smiled at him.

"You know you made quite the scene back there" She said approaching Alec with a little smile, "It was hot, I might like a recap" Sophia flirted as Alec smiled down at her, when there lips were inches apart.

Robert and Maryse walked into the room interrupting the couple who pulled away from each other, "What have you done, Alec? To us? This family?" His mother questioned him as she stared at her son with disappointment.

"This isn't about you." Alec answered her as Sophia looked down stepping away from Alec and his parents to give them their privacy while also listening in

Maryse shook her head, "Of course it is. You are either being selfish or naive. This wedding was your plan from the start. And now you have humiliated us in front of the most respected members of the Clave. I don't even recognize you anymore."

Alec shrugged, "I'm the same person I've always been."

Maryse's frowned deepened as she glared at the brunette who was now looking at her, "And all for a mundane." She said with disappointment laced in her voice.

"Sophia isn't a mundane" Alec said quickly making Maryse turn to him in confusion, "Excuse me?"

"Sophia is........" He trailed off trying to find the word before finally continuing, "Special"

A smile creeped on Sophia's face at what Alec just said while Maryse scoffed, "Oh I'm sure she is"

"I'm serious. She's a born werewolf" Alec justified his choice of words ad Maryse eyes widened in shock.

"That's impossible..." She muttered before looking up at Sophia who was now standing beside Alec, "Wait, Are you Michael's and Jean's daughter?"

Sophia narrowed her eyes, "How do you know that?" She wondered as Maryse's eyes seemed to have gotten wider, "How are you alive? Valentine said the baby was dead"

"Well obviously he lied cause I'm right here" Sophia stated crossing her arms in front of her chest staring down at Maryse whose eyes were narrowed, "Yeah because you being a downworlder is any better" She scoffed before leaving the room.

"Just give her time." Robert excused his wife as he watched his son, "And you?" Alec wondered looking at his father waiting for his opinion.

"I don't really understand this. But I suppose our world is changing. How long has this been going on? Are you two in love?"

Alec's and Sophia's eyes widened in shock, she wouldn't go as far as love they both are still getting to know each other and it's still too early for them to know.

"Love? What? No. No, it's... it's, uh, it's sort of a different... It's not-" Alec stuttered and stumbled to find the right words before Sophia smiled at Robert, "We're figuring things out"
