"Simon! Please stop bouncing your legs you're stressing me out, seriously" Sophia asked exasperated at Simon's nervousness.

They had been waiting for a while for Clary to show up after her interview at the Brooklyn academy of art, Sophia, Simon and Clary had been friends since forever they had always been there for each other.

"What if she doesn't get accepted, will she move? I mean she can't or-- maybe she'll go to a different school but her passion is art and---" Simon ranted as Sophia raised her eyebrows at him urging him to stop talking, "Are you done now?"

"I'm overthinking this, aren't I? I just worry about her you know" He admitted.

"Because you my friend has the biggest ass crush on our little ginger best friend. I don't understand you're single she's single what's stopping you from admitting your undying love for her"

"Are you kidding me? What if she doesn't feel the same then I'm ruining our friendship for nothing"

"Simon, Clary would never stop being your friend, the three musketeers, remember?" Sophia smiled at Simon who smiled back before his smile fell upon seeing Clary's upset face entering the Cafe.

"Give me the professors' names and I... I will end them." Simon started the two girls turned to Simon with a frown on their faces, he cleared his throat, "You know, with... with a scathing e-mail to the dean."

"It's their loss, Clary" Sophia comforted putting her hand on Clary's

Clary shook her head handing Simon and Sophia a letter, "Don't bother"

Simon and Sophia stared at each other as they read the word, "Congratulations"

"What? The sad face? Really? Well played, well played."

"We know you're too talented not to get accepted right away, well earned" Sophia congratulated with a smile.

Clary smiled at her friends, "Thank you, guys. You know, it's weird. They kind of liked my assigned work, but they flipped out over the drawings for our graphic novel."

Simon's smile widened, "You're welcome."

"This day will go down in history as the greatest 18th birthday I ever had."

"Which is why we are celebrating tonight. Yes, with Maureen, after our show." Simon announced with a goofy smile.

Clary smiled, "Absolutely. So... what's the deal with you and Maureen?"

"Yeah, Simon. What's the deal?" Sophia asked with a smirk on her face teasing her friend.

"What deal? No deal. We sing together."

Clary raised her eyebrows, "You seriously don't know she's been crushing on you this whole time?"
