The first spring break off where you get to go off with your friends, you meet Jaeden Martell. A normal spring break with friends, becomes something that will change your life forever.
I'm still standing on the balcony, replaying me and Jaeden's conversation over and over again in my head. As the sun settles into the ocean and a warm breeze floats over me, I just close my eyes and smile. He touched my arm. Like, on his own?? God I'm being ridiculous...
"Hey you whore, I want pizza but Im too anxious too call myself," Jessica says, opening the glass door real too quickly, causing my daydream to stop abruptly.
"Thank you for choosing me? Where's Liam at?"
"Ugh he's off with Finn? I don't know where they went."
"Awesome," I watch her stick out her bottom lip, "oh my god- give me the phone."
"Yes!" she smiles, running back into the kitchen to get her phone. This condo has almost become a second home at this point. Liam has shells he's been collecting scattered across any flat space that will hold them, causing me to always be vacuuming. Jessica has actually bought things for the place. Because new throw pillows seem necessary. I dial for a large pizza with y/f/p/t on it, even though Jessica wanted some sort of gluten free crust.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late," Liam shouts from the doorway, "What's up?"
"Not much, we ordered a pizza though," I say, pushing in some chairs.
"Oh sweet," he yawns, putting his sandals on the mat and walking in to the kitchen, "it's gorgeous outside, like really."
"Honestly though," Jessica responds, putting her dark hair in a high ponytail and sitting at the counter with me.
"Guys we have like..a little more then a week left here.." I sigh, "I don't want to go back home."
"Me neither, but still, we can stay in touch with everyone," Liam says, pulling out a chair to sit down too, "weren't you talking to Jaeden earlier? Finn and I saw you from the pool."
I feel my face go hot, and try to suppress the inevitable blushing.
"Yeah, I mean, he had to go and watch a show with Jack, but he was here for a bit when we were all hanging out."
"Mhm," Jessica smirks. I hit her gently.
We spend the rest of the night watching y/f/s, and eating pizza, all falling asleep on the couch way too late into the early morning.

My neck hurts like hell when I wake up. Jessica apparently thought my lap was a perfect pillow, and Liams was a footrest, because she's sprawled across both of us, snoring.
I look to see if Liams awake, but he's fallen asleep sitting up too, trying to use the back of the couch as a headrest.
I decide I might as well take a walk outside since I'm up so early anyway.
I put on one of my favorite lazy walking outfits, and grab my shoes on the way outside.

I walk out, lock the door behind me, and push the 'down' button on the elevator. As I wait I pop one of my earbuds into my ear and listen to "Anyone Else But You" by The Moldy Peaches.
The elevator door opens, and I automatically smile.
you guys thought I'd give you a short chapter again? do you have no faith???

Jaeden looks up from his book and smiles back.
"Hey," I say, a little shakily, "goodmorning."
"Goodmorning, where are you going so early? Liam and Jessica can't be awake yet."
"Yeah of course they're not," I laugh, "I was just going on a walk, what about you? Finn and Liam were out late and I doubt Jack is a morning person."
"Oh well I was going to walk down to the farmers market they have downtown and pick up some groceries. I swear that Jack never stops eating...Plus Finn wanted me to make smoothies."
I smile at him, as we walk out of the elevator and into the sandy colored hallway that leads out of the building into the warm morning air.
"Well I've been to that a few times, and believe me, you'll walk out of there will more then just a few groceries," I respond, shifting my weight from one foot to next next while we walk outside, "have fun though, I'll probably see you later?"
He smiles back and nods, which I take as a "Ive got it from here" type thing, so I start heading the other direction to start my walk on the beach. I only get a few feet before I head someone call out my name.
"Y/n!"
I turn, and meet his eyes, blue on y/e/c, get again.
"Yes?"
"You should come with."
