"Ok, so before the end of your first year here, we still need to take you to a Quidditch match, go to Hogsmeade, and you have to try Butterbeer." Hermione instructed as the girls walked across the grounds after class one Friday. "Lucky for you, there's a game tonight, Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff, and I know for a fact someone would love you to be there."
Brandi raised an eyebrow at her friend. "Oh?"
Hermione sent her a wink. "Please, you're gonna try and tell me you and Oliver don't fancy each other? Ginny sees it too, we aren't blind."
Brandi couldn't help but smirk but attempted to play it cool. "No idea what you're talking about. Now come on, so much to do so little time!"
"Well that's what happens when you join a school three months before the end of the year!"

It didn't take long for Brandi to fall in love with Quidditch. The Gryffindor team consisted largely of her friends, Harry, Fred, George and Oliver, and the way the crowd got into it including the teachers made it an epic watch. Brandi and Hermione had dressed up completely in red to support their housemates, donning their scarfs and jerseys to show team morale, and spent the match screaming out in support as Gryffindor pulled ahead of Hufflepuff.
On the other hand, the weather was absolutely insane, and there was a storm that definitely should have cancelled the match. Brandi had made multiple comments about the safety of the players and how they shouldn't have been expected to play in this, yet the match continued.
"Weasley seems to be in a bit of a brawl over in the left corner with our Ravenclaw seeker, but-OH! Wood defends ANOTHER point!" Lee Jordan was screaming.
"Gosh, Oliver really is good!" Brandi commented after he saved another one. "They all are."
As if he heard her, or maybe he was just making sure she saw his save, Wood sent a wink towards the crowd for Brandi.
Hermione gasped at the sight while Brandi blushed. "Oh my god. Oh my GOD I love this. You two are so adorable!" she squeaked, admiring the open display of appreciation from Oliver who was usually laser focused during games. He had never paid attention to the crowd at all, and it didn't go unnoticed.
"Wood seems to be throwing out some slick moves, I see you Oliver! Who's the unlucky lass that's caught your eye?" Lee announced over the speaker which caught the attention of the team who all turned to tease him along with the 'oooh' of the crowd.
"Wood's love life will have to wait - Harry Potter seems to be chasing the snitch up into the clouds, folks, he's not holding anything back! Diggory right on his tail, the two of them entering dangerously high altitudes!"
The commentary only added to the stress, as Hermione, Ron and Brandi all held their breath, none of them loving the risk Harry was putting himself in.
