On the day January 11th in hospital room 42, two babies were born. Twins actually.
One was a boy. His hair split in the middle, white on his right side and red on his left. Heterochromia eyes, Turquoise and grey, crying loudly in his mothers arms.
The other was a girl , hair glowing white and eyes bright turquoise. Unlike her twin crying next to her, she was joyfully laughing.
Rei Todoroki was smiling down at her two twins in amazement. Pure happiness bloomed from her chest at the sight of them.
"Shoto" she whispered to her crying little boy. "Welcome to the world Shoto."
Her eyes then drifted to the other twin who was playing with Rei's hospital gown, still giggling happily.
"And you, my little sunshine are-" Rei cut her self off in wonder.
In one movement, the baby girl looked up at her mother smiling widely, small black wings stretched from her back. The girl looked at her back in curiosity and flapped them awkwardly a few times.
"Incredible" Rei whispered to herself as she came to her final decision.
"Kayda, my little dragon".
