Chapter 4- UA entrance exam

The looming outline was coming closer and closer and Kayda forced herself to fly faster. Hopefully she doesn't lose to much energy since she's going to need it for later. 

Quickly finishing her food she flies up close to the clouds, attempting to disguise herself within them since technically its illegal for her to use her quirk. And she'll probably get in to a whole lot of trouble. 

But I mean it will piss my father off so who gives a dam. 

Its not like he didn't think she was a disappointment anyways. 

You see as Kayda watched her mother leave, and her family slowly fall apart a spark lit inside her. A spark of rage and fury that grew and grew as her father continued to destroy everything she loved. And from that spark grew rebellion. It would drive her to do absolutely anything to go against her father. 

If he set a curfew at 8. She would be home by 10.

If he demanded her to never use her allowance to buy anything stupid, a gigantic Allmight poster with the phrase "you'll be number 1 one day" would greet him at breakfast the next morning.

No animals in the house! Hey would you look at that we have a cat making itself at home on his pillow.

And that is only listing a small percentage of her rebellious actions.

But the day Touya died.

He was only known as 'Endeavour' to her now. 

Touya and Kayda were close, despite the age difference. No matter what Touya was always there to patch her up when she was beaten and burned, left to lay on the bloodied fighting mats. Always there to take the heat when her father came home after a bad day. She could still remember watching confused as Touya walked into the training room instead of her, to meet their fathers wrath. Bringing home chocolates after school that he would sneakily give to her at night. The late night cuddles, Touya holding her closely with her fresh burn marks bringing cries of agony. 

Yes Kayda was extremely close to Shoto. But Kayda and Touya seemed to have an unbreakable bond. They day he 'died' hit her hard and the rage she held turned into a burning hatred.

Refusing to get into UA through recommendations is somethings that she has always wanted to do. Just the thought of reaching her dream through her fathers recommendation made her want to throw up. She wanted to rise to the top on her own, through fighting and hard work she didn't need her father's input.

So that brings her back to the present. Finally reaching the grounds of UA she swooped down and landed in the shadows of the large building. Kayda then started to sprint like a maniac towards where she thought the arena for the exams were located. 

In the distance a large group of teens stood waiting anxiously in front of Battle Center A.

Well hey I made it before it started- 

"RIGHT LETS START!!!!! GET MOVING!!!!!!"

Well I guess that means go then. Without slowing down she leaps off her feet and spreads her wings. Using the draft behind her she shoots forward over the other contestants straight into the arena.

"Wooooohooooooo" Kayda shouted in glee as she shot through the concrete doors and into the makeshift streets. 

As if the rest of the group behind her finally came to their senses she heard a rumbling of running footsteps behind her. 

A series of explosions went off followed by an angry "GET BACK HERE YOU WINGED EXTRA!"

Jesus who woke up with a chainsaw up their ass this morning.
