~Kirishima~
It's been three days since the heroes had rescued Bakugo, and three days that Bakugo has been sleeping. According to Recovery Girl, he's only sleeping because of her quirk, so at least he's stable. He apparently didn't have many deadly wounds, but he had a lot of non life threatening ones. The worst injury he has is one of his legs. Apparently there's not a single bone in his left leg that isn't completely crushed. He has a few broken ribs, too, and his right wrist is sprained pretty badly. He's missing all of his fingernails, and he's lost a large chunk of skin on his back. In addition to all that, he's covered head to toe in nasty burns, bruises, and cuts. Strangely enough, all the cuts seemed to already be scarred or at the very least firmly scabbed over, as though they had stopped torturing him long before the heroes had arrived. The real reason he's here is his weight, though. He's apparently been completely starved for at least a week or two. If they had been any later he'd be dead. The doctors say the worst pain he's got is going to be psychological, and that he will likely have to go through a lot of therapy to recover from this, especially after Aizawa told them that he tried to suffocate himself. Each day, Kirishima spent sitting by Bakugo's side at the hospital. Aizawa and the other teachers had tried to get him to take a break and attend classes, but Kirishima refused, and the teachers knew not to push him too hard. The other students who were present at the rescue mission all came by to visit after school. Those who weren't present weren't allowed to be there because the staff knew Bakugo would not want his classmates to see him like that, but those present had already seen him so it made no difference. He still looks like a skeleton, but he's being fed through a tube, so at least he's not at risk of starving to death. Even though Bakugo was nearly stable at the moment, and not at much risk of death, Kirishima was still beyond worried. He was barely sleeping, and he only ate when his classmates came by and brought him some food. He almost felt guilty for eating while he knew Bakugo had been starving for so long. Kirishima sighed in resignation. He knew that Bakugo would kill him if he refused to eat for his sake. Kirishima smiled slightly thinking of the blonde's outbursts. He was always so loud, ambitious, and strong. Kirishima glanced at the figure lying in the hospital bed. Now, Bakugo looked like he could be snapped in half by two fingers. Will he still be himself when he wakes up? Will he be the same strong arrogant Bakugo they all knew and loved? Or would he be completely different? It's hard to believe anyone would stay strong after eight months of nonstop torture. Still though, this is Bakugo Katsuki we're talking about. Kirishima couldn't picture him losing his confidence or arrogance or bravery. Surely he'll stay the same Bakugo he always has been.
Just then, Kirishima was shaken out of his thoughts by a noise in front of him. He snapped to attention and saw Bakugo, with his eyes open. Bakugo flicked his gaze to the left, and ended up locking eyes with Kirishima. A slight look of fearful confusion crossed Bakugo's face. Bakugo opened his mouth, and tried to speak, but nothing came out. He twitched his head slightly, but closed his mouth again. Kirishima gently put his hand onto Bakugo's. Bakugo looked at him in confusion, and his arm twitched. Slowly, an annoyed expression crossed his face. His arm twitched again, and slowly, Bakugo pulled his hand away from Kirishima's. Kirishima moved his hand away from Bakugo, noticing a small flinch from the boy. He then realized he should probably tell a doctor that Bakugo woke up.

Bakugo slowly opened his eyes, only to tightly shut them again. The light was blinding. Where was he? Was he dead? Bakugo slowly opened his eyes. Everything was bright white. He heard a beeping besides him. He looked over and saw some machine that was spiking and beeping rhythmically. Bakugo was sure he recognised it but... he couldn't recall exactly what it was. This all felt too real. Surely he wasn't dead or dreaming, but... how'd he get here? How'd the blindfold get off? Was he free? Or was this just another elaborate trick to break him down even more? Bakugo sighed slightly, almost feeling a little better when he realized he could hear himself. He still felt like he was on death's door, though. He felt nauseous and everything was sore. Just then, he heard stirring from beside him. He shifted his gaze to his left, and saw a boy with spiky red hair, and red eyes. Bakugo recognized him. He knew for a fact that he knew this boy, maybe even considered him a friend. He was so certain that he knew him, so why couldn't he remember his name? Who was he? Bakugo tried to speak, tried to ask this boy who he was, and why he was here, but no sound came out. When was the last time Bakugo had spoken? He couldn't remember. Bakugo shook his head slightly, confused by the holes in his memory. Just then, the red haired boy put his hand onto Bakugo's. Bakugo looked at the boy in confusion. He still didn't know who the hell he was. Why was he trying to hold his hand? Bakugo had no idea what was happening. He was confused and maybe a little scared. He didn't want to be touched. He was certain the redhead would hit him for this, but he tried to move his hand away. To his dismay, his hand barely even twitched. Had his muscles really weakened that much? Again, he tried to yank his arm away from the familiar boy, but it still just jerked slightly. Focusing a little bit more, he slowly drew his hand away, muscles straining despite how little effort it should take. The read haired boy got the memo, and moved his hand away. Bakugo flinched slightly, thinking the redhead was about to hit him for not complying, but instead, the boy simply stood up, and exited the room. Bakugo relaxed slightly. He glanced around the room. He wasn't sure, but he figured he was in a hospital. He noticed the tubes sticking out of his arms, and the ones going up to his face.
