The iron clad gates were blown open by the harsh winds.

The ghosts were wearing capes.

And a party was being hosted in the castle on the island and all were invited to attend the All Hallows Eve festivities.
Including the non magic user and their small beast.
"Heh, who'd have thought? The Great Grim-sama would be carried in a basket by his servant on All Hallows Eve? Mweheha!" The raccoon cat donning his black and purple pointy hat mewled.
"Hey! I'm not your servant!" You shook the basket, startling the pet from almost falling out.
"Ffgna!"
"I'm just carrying you out of the goodness out of my heart ... that may be extinguished if you say such things in my presence. Get it?" Your closed eye smile plus the familiar dark aura surrounding you made warning bells go off in Grim's mind.
"G - Got it!"
"Good."
"Sheesh, you're becoming more like Dormhead Rosehearts and it scares me." Grim whispered to himself, shaking.
"Now, we should get going. I want to surprise him with my new costume and the party is going to start soon!" After seeing Deuce and Cater in their Gothic skeleton costumes, images of Riddle in said same outfit made an ingenious idea pop into your head. Thankfully, the ghosts of your dorm were understanding in you wanting to have a costume different from the others as well as pair well with Riddle's than in just a plain ghost costume.
