Chapter Twenty-one:

Willard Wilkerson
She said that she didn't know anything about the king's weaknesses but she said that he is good in manipulating people. I didn't gathered much information about his weakness before we resign and decided to drop the subject.
The night came fast and the silence envelope the room. I lay on the soft mattress while Alicea lay below the bed in her blanket. I did try to convince her to share with me but she insisted. I sigh in defeat as she lay there. I am thinking of so many things that I didn't know where my mind wandered off before I did fall asleep.
Early morning, we heard a heavy pounding on the door. Alicea scurried towards the door, unbolting the lock from inside which I never think of last night. I sat up on bed feeling like in a disheveled state.
"I need the princess in an hour. Deliver her to the drawing room." The king's adviser, Ihllias, said with full of enthusiasm. He then walked away and two guards came standing outside the doorway.
"Your Highness, we need to hurry." Alicea said in a sudden.
"Your words." I corrected her but she pointed at the guards by the door. Right.
In a matter of splash and swish and zip. I am all done dressing up. I don't really care much about appearance but Alicea kept on insisting me things to wear. I let her on, thinking that she'll met a punishment if I don't do things right.
We strolled into the hallways with two guards following us. Alicea stopped on her tracks and so I did. She knocked on the door and after seconds it sprang open. I readied myself for another storm.
"My darling, you came." Hearing those words makes me want to puke. But I couldn't do more than a cringe for the King was not alone in the room.
Sitting across him is a lady as beautiful and graceful as the mayor's wife in Middleton as can be. She wore a very extravagant gown with puffy shoulders and big odd looking hat. She bowed before me and her keen eyes started exploring my covered body.
"What a lovely wife you found, Your Majesty." I heard the king laugh while I stood there still and composing myself. "She's a beauty no one can compare of. Her sapphire eyes compliments her fair skin and I will make a gown worthy of this wonders."
"A gown?" I ask confused.
"A wedding gown, of course!" She exclaim and I grunted inside. "I can make it in two days, Your Majesty." She concluded and the king seems pleased.
"Very well. I never made a mistake in choosing you, Madam Avei. I'll be expecting the gown in two days and the next day will be the Big Day." King Willard seems excited while I felt worst.
"Ohh, how nice! I'll look forward to that day, Your Majesty." She seems giddy. "I'll make the preparations right away, Your Majesty."
"Of course, of course! I'll be glad to dismiss you." The lady bowed and started walking towards the door. When the door finally closed, I blew my covered up.
"You're a monster!" I shouted with utmost anger.
"I knew I am!" He went into me fast and we are inches apart each other. I stepped back countless of times until I felt the wall against my back. I was taken aback but my glare remained in his eyes.
"I'm your niece, you can't marry me!" I hissed. I tried cornering him but his smirks shot up.
"Oh, we both knew we aren't." I am shocked. He knew that I know about him? How?
