Craig of the creek: From beyond the creek

Earlier that day

Jeremy had finally made it to the "kingdom" that rose had told him about, it wasn't too far from the Gulch, it was 2 miles downstream, walking distance, there it was. the capital of the kingdom, with the castle in the distance in sight  Jeremy started to make his way towards it, a heavy step after another, he might be a heavy-weight, but he is quick on his feet, he just liked to play dumb and slow, and then surprise them with his deadly agility, but he wasn't always like this, there used to be a time when nobody hung out with him just for being... slightly over-weight, that was until another outcast invited him to join a group, a small group of 5, this person recognized that he was much more than a hulking beast, that he was just as agile as the next one on line, too bad he sleeping with the fishes now, literally, and Jack was the leader of the small group, he was just as good as Will, sure he might be evil and cynical at times but he was good with his teammates, as he neared the town gates he found the "guards" weird little kids wearing acorn costumes, in fact everyone around here was wearing plant themed costumes "huh, guess it's a themed kingdom" he was about to break the doors down with his club before he was stopped by an acorn kid "stop right there, where is your costume ?, are you new? have you presented yourself before the king?" to which Jeremy replied with "I don't know, yes, and not yet" "alright then follow me" and Jeremy followed, it was odd that he had been let in this quickly, normally he has to knock them out, but they were just taking him to the king, this takeover was going to be easier than capturing the Gulch, it was an absolute win !

After climbing up the stairs to the castle he now found himself up on the throne room, it was a nice throne room, made of wooden shelves and plastics, and in the middle was the king a tall kid, older than the rest with a serious looking girl standing to the right and in the shadows, the "king" suddenly got up with a big smile on his face to welcome him, "oh hello and welcome to my kingdom new kid, my name is Xavier and over there is my best friend Maya, who could you be ?" Jeremy answered with his best Australian accent "Crikey this is a mighty kingdom you have, oi where are my manners? the name's Jeremy nice to meet ya" good good, you seem to be a mighty kid, would you like to be one of my guards ? most kids start out as normal moss troopers, but you get to be a royal acorn, isn't that exciting ?" now Jeremy would have accepted this had this been an undercover mission, the perks sounded good, but king perks are even better so he got rid of the Australian accent and used his regular voice "actually, that's pretty good, but, I'd rather be king, chief" "excuse me what ?" said Xavier with a 'fake' puzzled look "you know what I said, I am challenging you for the throne" "well if you say so. Maya come here please, looks like the new kid needs a lesson in manners" as soon as he heard that Jeremy ducked and rolled back, just in time to dodge  a swing from Maya's bat, before pulling out his club and striking the ground, causing the room to shake. before speaking again "I could squash you like bugs, but I'll give you a sporting chance " he sheathed his club and grabbed a plastic bat from a table nearby, "if you do anything funny, out comes the club, understand?" explained Jeremy in a low and threatening voice, both Maya and Xavier looked at each other they were both afraid, one more than the other, but Maya accepted, "alright state your terms kid" Jeremy was pleased "if I win, I take the crown and you guys become prisoners, by the looks of it you didn't exactly treat your subjects well, if you win, I leave your kingdom alone" and then he got into a combat stance, "since this is your home I'm letting you have the first shot"   but before letting Maya do anything he turned around quickly and swinged his club behind him, hitting the king, who was trying to sneak up to attack him, "see, I told you, don't use any tricks, now you really got me mad" with that he smashed his club at the ground and threw the plastic bat behind him, "ready or not, I'm coming for you !"

Jeremy rammed into Maya before pounding the ground with his club, breaking the floor where it landed, Maya quickly got up and tried to parry his club with her plastic bat, which got smacked clean off her hand, Jeremy then smited her, pounding the floor as hard as he could, Maya grabbed her bat and hit Jeremy in the head, causing him to be stunned she then tried to break his club the same way she had with that pesky intruder's pipe sword a while ago, but she just hurt her foot "nope, that isn't going to work gal, that club is made of hickory root and granite" said Jeremy whilst laughing at her pathetic attack, before grabbing his club from under her and smiting at the floor again, all this ruckus was shaking the castle, guards started to come in the throne room, and curious onlookers were witnessing the battle for the fate of their kingdom,  if Maya won they would be back to their old oppressive lifestyle, if she lost then they could be free from this tyranny, but it wasn't guaranteed  and they could do nothing but to sit and watch, Maya tried to sweep Jeremy's leg but failed "nice try, but downing me is going to take more than that chief" he then dropped down on her, crushing her under his massive weight, and grabbed her feet, and started spinning around slamming her to the floor every now and then as he spun, before uttering "so long-eh kid !" and throwing her off towards the maze, she disappeared into the hedges, he then looked at the king who was stricken with fear as Jeremy walked slowly towards him as he muttered "you know, usually the kings I fight for their kingdoms fight by themselves, with honor, you however, just cowered and had your 'best friend' fight for you, and look what happened, I can't even take your crown, 1 because it is so girly it might as well be a tiara, and 2 come on man ! look at you, you couldn't even lift a finger when your kingdom was in danger, oh well doesn't matter" Jeremy sighed "now for the fun part, your people get to choose your fate !" Xavier was shocked that someone had just waltzed in and taken his throne and kingdom so easily "on your feet ! NOW !" yelled Jeremy getting annoyed at the unresponsive nature of the former king Raj and Shawn were looking from the crowd they saw the king on his knees with the intruder standing above him, the intruder spoke "since I have defeated your king's champion, I now assume the role of emperor, any questions ?" "are you still banning certain candies?" someone shouted "uhh what... no I guess" Jeremy answered "do we still have to wear these?" a girl shouted from the back of the crowd pointing at her costume "err... no" there was an uproar of approval from the crowd, once they calmed down Jeremy spoke again "now that that's settled, what should I do with the king ?" "throw him in the maze !" the crowd chanted, "throw him in the maze !, throw him in the maze !" "alright chicken, the people have spoken, its time for you to go" spoke Jeremy in a low threatening voice "no please, I'll do anything !" said an alarmed Xavier before Jeremy grabbed him by the legs and said "good, then if you could not break something on the way down it would be great" and threw him in the same way he had thrown his best friend. and now Jeremy then stepped on the former king's crown, or at least tried to. he just hurt his foot and awkwardly limped over to the throne before sitting on it to think of what to do next...

meanwhile Raj and Shawn were making their way out of the capital to find Craig and his friends, unaware that they also had problems with an outsider...
